I will be purchasing an old Massey Harris grain drill. The man I am purchasing from has a tractor with forks that can load for me. What do you think is the best way to load this? Maybe tying on just inside each wheel on the axle? I am afraid it might pinch the grain box on top though. Thoughts...

Interesting. I just assumed it was cast. Maybe its not? i definitely do not have a great deal of land to use it on. I have a total of about 3 acres of plots i would use it maybe twice a year.

I recently bought this 10ft cultipacker. I got it for $600, made a good little drive to pick it up only to find out 4 of the 32 wheels are damaged. There is 1 other wheel that is damaged but it is very minor. I am debating on whether to take these wheels off completely, or try and find somebody...

No reason other than curiousity. I have been told some wheels are worn but are in good working condition. Never owned a packer, but read a lot about Brillion wheels and other manufacturers. I was mainly wondering if anybody could tell by the look and shape of the wheel , who made it.

I am reading where people recommend removing "3 bolts on each hub" to disengage the chain to where only the wheel and bearings turn. Has anyone done this?

I am actually replacing a rotted tire right now on it. That is what has been holding me up on getting it. I have the new tire, just need to put it on. The other tire has recently been replaced.

I couldn’t find the exact size bushings but i found one a little longer that I can cut down into two pieces. Probably be later in the week before I can do it, but i think that is going to fix it.
