As a new shopper/buyer you hear John Deere and Kubota are number 1 and 2 in sales. I would guess day to day and depending on the source they flip flop.
Who is nipping at their heals and bringing up the rear in the number 3 spot??
I also during my tractor purchase questioned the somewhat noise from trans. The dealer said YES that is normal and it was present in both the SA324 and 221 I test drove. The 221 was a bit more noticeable I suspect due to only 1 speed.

When comparing Yanmar to let's say John Deere the dealers want to say "Oh the JD advantage is the drive over deck quick connect system". They pretty much will argue to the death if you say Yanmar also is a drive over. In all fairness there may be a couple addtl steps, but not enough to NOT buy...
Yea, but it was agreed on kinda like a handshake. I was just curious what others think. I doubt I would back out as I did do much research before making my decision and agree about best to stop looking/shopping.
Many of you know how hard it is to make a decision on which tractor when first time tractor buyer/owner. At the time of purchase dealer said just take paper work with you and will get pw signed and check $$$ when I deliver Tractor with FEL on Monday today. We are waiting on the MMM which was...
I would like to hear from the SA221 owners and their impressions and experiences. It may be the smallest of the Yanmar SA family, but it appears to be a great choice for those smaller homesteads. My use is as I have said mainly mowing 2 ac and some light loader work keeping in mind it's...
