    Who Holds The Third Spot?

Not really just popped into my head and thought I would ask. Next time I will make sure my observations are at a much higher level. Git-R-Done

    Who Holds The Third Spot?

I guess I probably could have googled? Just curious and looks like which brands I mentioned as 1st & 2nd may be in the scut or cut space. Thanks

    Who Holds The Third Spot?

As a new shopper/buyer you hear John Deere and Kubota are number 1 and 2 in sales. I would guess day to day and depending on the source they flip flop. Who is nipping at their heals and bringing up the rear in the number 3 spot??

    sa 324 / 424 Potential buyer questions

I also during my tractor purchase questioned the somewhat noise from trans. The dealer said YES that is normal and it was present in both the SA324 and 221 I test drove. The 221 was a bit more noticeable I suspect due to only 1 speed. Git-R-Done

    Light Bulb Just Came On?

OK my dealer had the SA221 with FEL. He was waiting on the M60SA MMM (should be in tomorrow). Does that mean that the mid PTO on the tractor is not factory wired during the build and the dealer will have to set up the mid PTO? Git-R-Done

Yanmar SA Series MMM IS A Drive Over Deck

When they deliver this coming Friday supposed to be FEL & MMM on the SA221. Waiting on the mower.

Yanmar SA Series MMM IS A Drive Over Deck

Yes U R correct sir (Ed McMahon). That is why I said Yanmar docs say the M60SA which is the 60" mower for the SA221 is also a drive over, BUT I have not seen the 221 MMM install on video.

Yanmar SA Series MMM IS A Drive Over Deck

When comparing Yanmar to let's say John Deere the dealers want to say "Oh the JD advantage is the drive over deck quick connect system". They pretty much will argue to the death if you say Yanmar also is a drive over. In all fairness there may be a couple addtl steps, but not enough to NOT buy...

Yea, but it was agreed on kinda like a handshake. I was just curious what others think. I doubt I would back out as I did do much research before making my decision and agree about best to stop looking/shopping.

I Hate To Even Think This, BUT

Many of you know how hard it is to make a decision on which tractor when first time tractor buyer/owner. At the time of purchase dealer said just take paper work with you and will get pw signed and check $$$ when I deliver Tractor with FEL on Monday today. We are waiting on the MMM which was...

    Calling All SA221 Owners!

I would like to hear from the SA221 owners and their impressions and experiences. It may be the smallest of the Yanmar SA family, but it appears to be a great choice for those smaller homesteads. My use is as I have said mainly mowing 2 ac and some light loader work keeping in mind it's...

    Head Spinning, BUT I Bought

Thanks, they make it so hard. To many brands and models, economy version deluxe. Yanmar at least doesn't do the economy and here is the same tractor in deluxe.

Yea I was looking at that one to and decided 221.

    Need Some Tiller Advice

OK what is the difference between "Disc Harrow, standard duty" VS "Rotary tiller, gearbox drive"? My small garden area is about 25'X25'. Would it be smarter to just get a stand alone gas VS Yanmar attachment for tractor? Figure while 0 interest might just throw into deal. Also anyone here...

    Head Spinning, BUT I Bought

Well after 2 weeks of research and driving to dealers I finally made the plunge. After back and forth SA221, SA324 and going in today thinking 324 I decided the 221 will do all that I need. Put both in the yard at dealer digging and lifting and the such and YES 324 more tractor, but 221 quite...

Looking in Op Manual Min Ballast Weight

I am all about safety and know I will need ballast on my SA324. I have looked in the op man and do not find minimum ballast weight. I am more concerned with rear ballast weight. Butt In The Seat both SA221 & 324 Today

Pretty much going 329 just because it is a bit bigger than 221, but not enough that it will affect my mowing I don't think. Plan go to dealer in AM with check book in one hand and a stick in the other. Still have some negotiating to do.

Why No Major Stand Alone Dealers??

Yep, sound advice. I do not have a trailer and plan to ask IF I can come pick up trailer and bring tractor in for service at no charge if needed. They of course will deliver after sale and seem to be good folks small dealer 2 locations so I expect that I can borrow if needed.

    Need Help on Price!

Visited my local Yanmar dealer and was quoted on a 2020 SA324 FEL MMM= $17097 B4 tax with 72 mo fin. How does this compare to what some of you folks have seen out there? It appeared to be on his lot for a while as the steering wheel and dash seem to be a bit sun faded. Another concern is read...

Why No Major Stand Alone Dealers??

In my research and seriously considering Yanmar I see IN MY (Houston TX Market) area no major Yanmar dealers. Most small equipment rental companies and sell Yanmar tractors as a second revenue. So my concern is IF my closest dealer (40 miles) goes out of business or changes brand I then have...

    DANG IT Willy!!

I thought I had pretty much made a decision on a JD 1025 then Willy had to throw some Yanmar videos on my post. Willy, NOW u have me 2nd guessing my decision. I am not a fan of the mower install as getting under the tractor is not a real option for me, BUT 90% mowing not disc mower very often. I will call my local Yanmar and see if he got the mowers in and plan test drive and get quote.

Yes I have seen, but watched again. When I first started looking the SA324 was what I wanted. The dealer I spoke with had the tractor, but not the mower and no idea when he would have it in stock. I am not a owner of a tractor YET and am open to ALL. I plan to be 90% mowing 10% FEL work. I...

JD Plant Tour 1 thru 4 Series

Yep, not sure what other manufacturers are directly involved in production and build making sure company standards and quality control. Only the Yanmar engine is built and not overseen by JD. I'm sure there are misc parts that are not JD build, but the major components appear to be.

    Close to pulling the trigger.

I saw a youtube JD factory tour. It appeared yes engines (at least the 1 series or those using the Yanmar engine are made in Japan. This has been a long time relationship coordinated with JD engineers. The drive train is made at a JD plant in Wisconsin and I believe axels are made at a JD...

    Questions About JD Financial

    New or Low Hour Used?

    Is it used

I agree on the replies 12 hours is nothing, BUT I GOTTA ASK if you brought in a tractor with 12 hours would they trade it in as new or used? I would bet they would discount your trade. Just sayin

    New or Low Hour Used?

Just thought I would ask coming from the riding mower world and never having owned a tractor. I know some would say a 1025 ain't a real tractor, but just a riding mower on steroids. Is finding a low hour 1025r that has service records a smart way to go VS new? $$$$ Second ? what would you...
