    I'm looking for a new JD lawnmower, X300 - X500

My 2006 L120 is still running good but I am looking to get a newer model. I want power steering, 48" deck and real bearings in the front wheels, not bushings. The parts guy said the X390 had power steering but I don't know about front wheel bearings. Any advice on X300 or X500 mowers two...

    Economy PTO.

My M7060HD12 with a 6' bush hog in 24" grass will run about 550 PTO rpm at 3.2 mph and do a good job. I can't tell any harder load on the motor, it has plenty of hp to handle it. Loving this machine so far.

    mowing speed

I use a 6' bush hog on my M7060HD12 to maintain a series of annual plots and perennial Durana clover plots. When the grass (in clover) or oats(annuals) get above 24", I'm moving at 3.2mph and a PTO speed of 540-550. I can run up to 4.5mph with short grass.

Top link extension on the tractor.

I don't have the hydraulic top link, but the particular bush hog I have needs a extra long top link. I purchased this extra long top link when I used a Ford 2000. I then used it on my Ford 3910. Oddly, I did not need it with the Mahindra 5035 I had prior to my new 2018 Kubota M7060HD12. I...

Wheel weights for a Kubota MX5800

Hey, nice job on your weights. These are factory three per side. It rained two inches two days ago and I just went around the back yard with no damage to the grass with my M7060HD12.

Buying Advice New Holland vs Kubota vs Mahindra

I second airbiscuit. I've owned Fords, Mahindra and now Kubota. The older Ford tractors were tank tough. The Mahindra appeared to be tough but I had many repairs of cheaply made parts breaking down leaving me in the field multiple times. I think Mahindra would be better suited to lighter...

    M7060HD12 ARRIVED!

I am pleasantly surprised how quick and easy the FEL disconnects from the Kubota tractor. It was a real chore on the Mahindra. I hooked up my old 60yo Ford 'land plane' and leveled the driveway gravel.

Current Kubota Orange closest HD spray paint?

I used some Rust-Oleum Kubota orange for a tool box and brackets. It was too far off for my liking but I think would be just fine for an implement. I went to the dealership and purchased the real deal orange, although they mistakenly sold me the wrong gray, which was way too light. I used the...

    M7060HD12 ARRIVED!

Fabricated some offset adapters to add a larger tool box and raise the SLM sign. Added two 6-light led work bars with switches. Exchanged halogen for LED side lights. I am waiting for headlight LED's to be shipped.

    Land Pride or WRLong

I've love my WR Long third functions on a 50hp and now my 70hp. It will fit your hand like a glove and the quality is tops.

Need Suggestions - Used Tow Vehicle

We towed our previous camper with our 2006 5.3 Tahoe and it was sufficient as we have a Tekonsha Prodigy brake controller and 4 way Equalizer hitch. We purchased a larger camper and have towed it with the Tahoe and it does OK, but want to travel farther, which will take us over mountains...

    M7060HD12 ARRIVED!

I think I bent the leveler indicator bracket that is welded to the right loader arm on my 1154 loader. If you have the same loader can you tell me if this bracket had a curve or is supposed to be straight? I have a feeling I put the curve in it while pushing over some small trees.

    M7060HD12 ARRIVED!

I am officially a Kubota owner as my M7060HD12 arrived. I've included some pics with my grandson. I am slowly getting used to not clutching while shuttling between F/R. Trying to put some easy time on the tractor during break in. I can't believe how quiet it is. With my Mahindra 5035 I...

Oil & Fuel  Mahindra Cold Weather Cranking Experiences

Since my joining this forum I have read many great tips from other members of their wisdom learned from their experiences. The most recent being cold weather diesel start ups. I will say also, I've had several problems, related to cheap workmanship, with my 2011 Mahindra 5035PST, which is a...
