Anyone heard of Lone Star trailers?

I still haven’t made a decision on the used Lone Star and now there’s another option. A dealer about a hour away has a new 2022, 20’ Currahee tag along, 12000#, dove tail, fold down ramps for $6700. That’s only $1200 more than the used Lone Star. Theres also very little info or reviews out...

Anyone heard of Lone Star trailers?

Thanks for the info from you both. Since the trailer is used and I have done business with the dealer before, I may go back and see if he will let me pull it down the highway and maybe load it with hay. I hope it will hold 8 rolls on the floor with 3 on the top.

Anyone heard of Lone Star trailers?

I’ve been looking for a deck over trailer to use to haul rolls of hay. I was looking for either a PJ or Big Tex 18’ or 20’ tag along but seems like nobody has one locally. Today I stopped at a farm equipment dealer and he had a used 2006, Lone Star brand, 18’ deck over, tag along, dovetail with...

    Added a basket to ROPS

I'd bought front and rear baskets a few years ago for the ATV but decided I really didn't need them on the ATV. So I decided to use the smaller one on the M7060 ROPS to carry anything that will fit in it, a cooler with water, Gatorade, etc. when working on the other side of the property. Pretty...

Older bobcat X325 fuel stop solenoid issue

I had the exact problem with my 97 Ram Cummins. My problem turned out to be just a relay. That would be what I'd check first.

Post driver - what do you use?

I was in a similar situation with about 120 acres of fence to replace which includes the perimeter, cross fences and barn lots. I researched post drivers quite a bit and decided on the Danuser Hammer LM40 with the extra weight, tilt and grapple. ($6500) The grapple feature allows me to drive...

    M7060 brush guard

I've been clearing off fences and moving a lot of brush over the last few weeks. Last week after getting back to the shed I noticed that I had mashed in my front grill. Luckily nothing was broken and I got it popped back out with the aid of a rubber mallet. As soon as I finished for the day I...

    Befco landscape rake?

Anyone have any experience with Befco landscape rakes? I'm wanting something that's heavier duty than King Kutter or the one from TS. Just about everything around here is made for smaller tractors, 40hp or less. I'll be using it on a M7060 Kubota and want something that will hold up to pushing...

    Chainsaw vise

I had some scraps laying around and made this chainsaw vise. Set it on the tailgate, ground, bench, etc. Holds the saw steady when sharpening chains. Works great.

    Kubota M7060 broke- Need help!

My M7060 is an open station with a 4 speed transmission with high/low range. (8 speed) The problem is that a bolt came out of the linkage that connects the high/low range shifter to the linkage to the transmission. There are 2 bolts on that connection, 1 is gone and the other is loose. The way...

Cutting trees with imbedded woven wire fence

This winter I want to start replacing about 2000' of old rusty fence. Along the fence there are places where trees/ bushes have grown around the wire. Originally the woven wire fence was put up onto clean ground, using new posts and no wire was nailed to any trees. I can cut the trees high...

    Tree puller question

I have trees growing in 1/2 mile long fence line and Im going to clean it up. I want to cut them down with the chainsaw but the fence runs along the highway. I can't let them fall in the road and can't let them fall back across the fence. The trees range in size from saplings to 8" in diameter...

    New Echo 501p

A big gum tree had fallen into the pasture a couple weeks ago. This past Saturday was dry and pretty enough that I cut it up and moved all of the debris to a gully with the tractor and grapple. The job was uneventful and everything went well except for the fact that my 30 year old Husky 61 just...

    Everything Attachments

Over the last few years I have bought 2 grapples, post hole auger, a spare auger bit and a dual hay spear for round bales from EA. I had to wait for the grapples to be built but the wait time seems insignificant now. The augers and hay spear were in stock so no waiting. I went and picked those...

    Hydraulic post driver

My 120 acre farm is in need of a major fence overhaul and I'm thinking of investing in a 3 point hydraulic post driver for my M7060. I already use a post hole auger and it works great but the holes still need to be filled and tamped. That takes a lot of time and to be honest tamping takes it's...
