If you wanted more lift capacity you went the wrong direction, The 1538 had a loader lift capacity of 1650 lbs @ the pins and the 2638 is 1634 lbs @ the pins.
The next step up would be the 1640 with a 1850 lift capacity @ the pins ( but its only 200 lbs more)
I have seen the female spade terminal melt the plastic housing and not make contact with he glow plug connection, so I would change the female spade connector, put a ring terminal in is place and install under the nut on the glow plug with the male spade terminal
Pull the fuse or wiggle the fuse for the ECM it is in the harness near the computer. I have seen the terminal loose their tension and make intermintent contact with the fuse. If that helps replace(splice in ) the fuse holder with a good quality one
It is more than likely chattering due to low voltage, check voltage at the relay, check the positive battery cable and if i remember correctly there is a connection off the positive cable to some smaller wires, look for dirty connection there.
Check for a mouse nest in the transmission/bell housing, causing the clutch to slip. I have seen a few. The clutch slips and the input shaft to the HST stops turning.
Leo,
As we discussed on the phone yesterday, we had the part number in stock and it shipped this morning. I checked on the part # being discontinued with Mahindra and was told it was an IT issue with the catalog system and will be fixed this week. If I can be any other help give me a call...
Jimmy,
The glow plugs that come in the Mahindra update kit are correct, yes they are a little larger than the old ones. What happens is usually a little carbon/soot gets built up around the holes and you just need to clean the holes.
