I can't say for sure but that tractor has similar specs to my 33D. Here is a quick maintenance guide I pulled off Messicks web site. It may give you some direction.

I've had this Odyssey battery in my 33D for 6 years now and never had an issue, it's AGM so bouncing around has little effect and I have had none of the corrosion issues that the factory battery provided. The "L" model puts the terminals on the proper side but I did have to modify the connections.

Don't forget the inspection light that accompanies the magic smoke, they are packaged together at the factory...UL requirements. This is what happens when one generator is not quite ready to be paralled with another generator or, somebody forgot to lockout/tagout!
