New Holland TC33D
Hello all,
Somewhat of a newbie here. Had a Kubota BX23, with loader and hoe. Got fairly good with it. Put 300 hours on it. Stupidly sold it bc I needed money for a downpayment on a house. Well, now, that house needs much work. So, I went out and bought a 2000, TC33D. It has a loader and hoe. It also comes with a 3 point hitch. My question is, is there anything specific as far as problems that I need to look out for? The machine has 1720 hours on it, and is hydro. It looks to be in good condition, but certainly not as clean as my Kubota (which had low hours and was garage kept). Secondly, is there a site which would show me how to install the 3 point hitch? It appears a little more complicated than the one on my BX. It has an extra set or arms with it. I want to install a post hole digger with a 12 inch auger on it. This thing is much bigger than my BX was! Thanks for any input!

Welcome to TBN
I have a TC 29D with a loader and hoe, I think you'll really like your 33.

What exactly do you mean? Is the 3 point hitch not on the tractor?? I have a tc33d and love it. Same vintage.

No, the hoe is on the back of the machine . So, I will have to remove the hoe, and install the hitch. There are the typical arms for the hitch, but there is an extra set of small arms as well.

Do the small arms have multiple holes in them?? If so, they control the side to side movement of the main arms. They come off the tractor and attach to the outside edge of the main arms. Do you have an operator's manual?? If not the easiest thing to do might be to go to the dealership and take some pictures with your cell phone. I would do it for you on mine, but I don't know how to do it. If you can't see one at the dealer, I'll see if I can figure out how to post a picture. Let me know.

I have to go to work this morning. Whenever I get home, I will take pictures of all of the parts and send them. Thanks much.

Here are a few pictures of my TC33D's 3-point hitch, hopefuly they will help you understand how it goes together. As Ironpen mentioned the shorter ones with holes are used to stabilize the actual arm.
