I have a Kubota 3901 and my experience is pretty much inline with what you want to do. I purchased a grapal, loader, brush hog and a box blade to go with it. It has done all I asked so far. I also have a 2 axel trailer ( 24' bobtail ) that holds it all. I tow it all with a Ford

I own an l3901 Kubota I very seldom ever used third gear and only then to use as a transport option. My advice on the tractors would be to consider a 3901 particularly if you're ever going to low hi grass on grades. The extra horses are convenient and I have absolutely no problem with the...
My L3901 has the regen capability and has caused me no problems at all. If I work the tractor harder it seems to regen less. If I am lazing around (under 2000 rpm) it will regen more often. My dealer told me to "beat the hell out of it and it will live forever". So far no problems after 3 3 !/2...
Not sure about Deere, Kubota or land Pride make Kubota loaders. Alot has been said here and some very good advice as well. If the tractor/ loader was mine it would already be at the dealership to get to the bottom of proper repairs.
I use amsoil for everything but the hydraulic fluid. As others have stated the Kubota hydraulic system is very sensitive to oils. I would prefer to use the amsoil but, Kubota has a specific oil and I'll stay with that.

I have had the exact same problem for years. My T 1870 is now dead. I wonder if there could be an electrical issue? When it runs it runs great, My machine is 17 yrs old and I would really rather keep it than search for new. I've had the carb apart several times but so far the patient is dead.
It finally came off! Thank you all!!Penetrating oil and a pulley puller + a 3# hammer and the wheel came off immediately. Added some never seize and new tire now all is well.
