Humpolec loader parts - Joy stick.

MANY THANKS to Cen3035 !!! I finally got the ATV CV joint boot through Walmart and it is *-SO FRIGGIN' PERFECT-* that I don't really "NEED" any securing straps or hose clamps. Worked with it for a couple of hours the last couple of days and it stays in place nicely, starting to forget that...

Flail Mower Let's talk flail mowers

    Yeah, it is more likely to appear in someone's Hobby profile than their "day job" skills (-: As I said, dirt bikers are a likely bunch. They crack engine and gear cases when they go a' rock hopping. Bash plates only do so much )-;

Flail Mower Let's talk flail mowers

A thought on the cast iron brazing question. Such skills DO still exist (-: I would try asking the local "dirt bike community". A good start would be the local motorcycle shop, they may be able to do it if their clientele has a strong off road contingent, or they may have a small ads board.

Kubota FEL with Self Leveling Valve

I doubt that, since it is essentially a "bleed off" of returning fluid. No matter, it is WAY too stupidly complex and the adjustment is way too finicky. See JD (a.k.a. Kukje & Humpolec contract builders) for simpler, more robust and more reliable solution - - hint/clue parallelogram arms.

Kubota FEL with Self Leveling Valve

The manual suggests a special tool (of course) that clamps to the pallet forks. Basically it is a pendulum and you make adjustments by leveling manually at fully down, then raising to fully up and messing with the proportioning valve until there is a 4 degree or less change. Similarly for the...

Humpolec loader parts - Joy stick.

BLAHH !!! Walmart's 3rd party vendor (All Balls) sent the wrong parts. Hopefully I get the right part TODAY ! BTW, I went to ridiculous lengths to measure the squarish control box with rounded corners to get its circumference. Came out scary close to the spec on the ATV CV Joint boot.

OK, so I broke down and ordered the ATV CV joint boot - from WALMART of all places about $18 with tax. I'll have it in a couple of days. Hope to report back favorably.

That looks REALLY NICE ! I hadn't considered the possibility of a "boot" that is nominally round at each end being stretched over a nominally "square" joystick box. (I must have blonde roots - a Duhh moment indeed).

Hahh, I started this thread over 4 years ago. OK, so the goop is kinda holding up ....kinda. An aside - I have been building 3D printers for some time now, maybe 8 years, so I get all sorts of flyers from suppliers. One that caught my eye last week was one from Syraya Tech touting their...

Wiring - Power, from the battery on...

Bahh, humbug ! It turns out that I suffered a "repair person induced failure", i.e. I screwed up and chased my own tail for a while. In retrospect I had put the 4-way flashers on as a quick check to see if there was any power getting to the fuse block - they weren't working at that time, but I...

Wiring - Power, from the battery on...

Kinda ODD ! The fuse was physically BROKEN, i.e. a whole blade was missing. Here's the odd part; After much dismantling to get a good view of the fuse's socket I determined that there were no bits of fuse blade in there. HOWEVER ! Putting a new fuse in there led to some random clicking -...

Wiring - Power, from the battery on...

Almost by happenstance I got into the fuse block. I think there was something in my head about a shutdown relay.... maybe, maybe not. Anyway, the CURRENT item being fixed is a broken off fuse blade - it will be HARD to get the bit(s) out given that the loader is on until this is fixed and I...

Wiring - Power, from the battery on...

I can "follow it" but it would help a little bit if I knew in advance where I am hoping to find it. i.e. it could go to the fuse block first or to the starter solenoid. or to somewhere else - - I jest but only slightly, the damned tractor is kinda deep in the woods right now so squirming around...

Wiring - Power, from the battery on...

Thanks, Yep I get that in any circuit the highest resistance has the highest voltage drop across it (-: Back to it today and HOPING for a breakthrough.

Wiring - Power, from the battery on...

OK, so I'm not exactly NEW to this problem on various junk cars I and my off spring have had over the decades, but I need SPECIFICS on the Kukje power wiring. This is a 42 HP Large frame machine from 2005/06. It is "as if" I have a poor battery connection or a weak battery. i.e. sometimes it...
