Mine never leaked. It just got slower and slower on the return side to the point now it moves about 1/8" each time you pull the lever. Probably just a seal or something, but im not gonna mess with it.

So...I just started looking for one to keep my roads crowned. Maybe this is a dumb question, but why would you only want it to adjust 1 direction? Easier to level it again? Id think youd want equal adjustment in both directions? But never having used one, maybe i dont know what im talking about...

Maybe forested areas differ, but its not really just trees. Its a pine forest. And lots of trash brush and tall weeds that creep out into trails. I dont think USDA is going to come out multiple times/year and i cant clear 30' trails through the forest. What is unsafe about a lane shark?
