So you windrow two into one or three into one? That looks like good food there!

Another day and it's ready to bale?
I have to do two into one because if I did three into one the middle one wouldn't get flipped, it would just get the two outsides piled on top of it and in places it would want to wad up on me because it's so thick. Some of it will be ready tomorrow but I think I will have to wait till Thursday because of some of the thick spots, seed heads are still hanging on, it's gonna be some good feed for horses or cows.

Makes sense now - I cut hay with a sickle bar mower and raked with a steel wheel side delivery rake growing up on the farm. You're doing the same thing, just better machines, processes, methods and MUCH (less work) handling each bale

Yes sir I am for the most part a one man show so I have to try to make every lick count, and you are 100% right about the big round bales being less work than the small squares.

That is what I like to do. Charge by the job. Give them an estimate up front and 99% of the time I have honored the estimate. The one time I did not was when a customer told me there was no stumps in the field and I found about 50!

Back to cleaning up the other 2 sides of this customers property for a new fence to be built, I finished this job today and will go to another mulching/cleanup tomorrow and Thursday.

I know it's not your job, but overhanging branches have a way of taking out a fence ever time it storms where I live.
