You already have the CTL , you would be amazed what you can do with one, I guarantee you that you would enjoy it.

I know it's not your job, but overhanging branches have a way of taking out a fence ever time it storms where I live.

A big portion of my place is woods and creek bottoms, I fix fence all the time, it's never ending.

New job today , customer bought a place and wanted the brush encroaching the driveway cut back and some azaleas and sago palms mulched and lots of tree and vine infested areas in the backyard cleaned up and finally some woods on the back of his property mulched/ forestry mowed, got it all done , now to get him a limerock driveway done.

If you don't mind, I'm assuming your having the limerock delivered, it's upto what now, $11-14/ton plus trucking?

Hey Lineman, let us know how that new mulcher is working. I just bought a 9 ton excavator and need to start saving for a mulcher head. I’d much prefer a non-chinese unit, but money IS an issue.
In the meantime, I’m just going to run a small bush hog on it because they’re so much cheaper.

If you don't mind, I'm assuming your having the limerock delivered, it's upto what now, $11-14/ton plus trucking?

$475.00 per 10 wheeler dump truck load $550 for a semi load which is about 10 more tons, problem is you can't always get the semi into some of these places.

I didn't really want a Chinese mulcher either but everything I read about the Raytree brand said they were solid and with good company support over here and so far that has been the case, I have reached out to them via email twice and have received a response within 12 hours and they sent me an owners manual in English. I gave $6k for the mulcher new and it has already paid for itself, to be honest I really couldn't justify giving $25-35k for one, I only wanted one to do work up around people's homes because it doesn't throw material far like my brushcutter does, but it's been tough so far because I work stuff pretty hard in this line of work but I wouldn't hesitate to buy another Raytree brand mulcher at this point but you couldn't give me a Topcat or some of those other Chinese mulchers as to many people have had to many catastrophic failures within 10 hours of use.

I will probably end up in a used legacy brand. Stuff is so expensive now, even chinese is expensive
