Good morning!!!!

excellent news Don!
my morning went well too, body shop fixed my loose panel in ten minutes, a bolt had fallen out and
that sure went easily. Then talked to local garage and they put car up on lift to look at shock. Its a strut and only issue is
whether their spring compressor will handle it, but they are willing to try. I also saw little to no evidence of the leak dealer wanted two
grand to fix. But the big surprise was that i found out my car had KDSS, some acronym for sway bars that can disconnect for greater
articulation. Articulation I and likely the prior owner never used in suburbia. For serious off roaders, a nice feature, for me just complexity and
a point of failure. No other leaks and only very light rust underneath.

I'll go back later this week to get shocks put on. For now, headed outside on a very nice day to wash my car
and maybe cut a few roses for a vase.

71F and sunny @ 12:00, heading up to around 76F for the day's high.

Went to bed around 23:00 woke up a little after 04:00 oveheated, was up for a couple of hours and then went back to bed around 06:00 and slept until nearly 11:00 ... which is throwing my schedule off ... 🤬

Haven't shaken whatever I picked up, congestion still hanging around in my upper chest but no longer have the constantly runny nose.

Big progress on garage clean up yesterday.

Got Cub pre filter re-oiled and installed on air filter and filter swapped out for the old one.

Also got underside of Cub deck largely cleaned off in preparation for mowing today. Was pretty bad ... but not nearly as bad as I have seen it.

Going to give it a final "polish" before I start mowing by running it over some woodchips I spread to dry out last night. Curious to see what that does.

Blades appear to be in great shape, only one had a slight nick in it. I think I put those on last year ... so they seem to be holding up well.

Used forks on Kubota to bring radial arm saw from barn and tarped it with a brand new tarp.

Then swapped out forks for light material bucket and took bucketoad of screened compost down to neighbor's.

Big guy out on the suet feeder:

IMG_2681 copy.jpg

He was probably out there for at least 10 - 15 minutes ... on both suet feeders.

Have been hearing him calling a lot lately.

Might explain why the suet cakes are disappearing so fast ...

Need to get moving.

Hope everyone is having a decent Monday ... (y)

69°F and .07 inches rain

An almost relaxing day yesterday. Our Dolphin pool vac has been hit and miss, mostly miss. So decided to troubleshoot. It’s out of warranty

Power supply and cable check out. Good thing as I’d pretty much decided I wasn’t spending $300 to replace the cable.

So as of now I have $1200 of parts totally disassembled, cleaned and sitting on the table. I didn’t take apart the motor assembly , yet.

Happy Hour in town this afternoon at one of our Mexican eateries.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

Back from town, one guy on the Northbound part decided that Bullwinkle did NOT have the right of way. He went away on a tow truck. :(
One guy on the southbound trip got a high speed award. Sux to be him.
This is the annual hassle the truck drivers week/AKA safety week.
I did a steady 110 km/hour (66 mph) both ways except for the construction where the speed limit was 80 k (50 mph).
Tractor is back. Works like a new one. Already tried it out.
Fresh oil and filter. Fresh fuel filter and both hydraulic filters and the leak fixed. Almost $1700.oo, but a far cry from what it would have been IF it needed a new pump.
Bought a new 10x10x8' shelter for the 500 gallon oil tank.
$451.99 all in. Now to cut down some trees to put the shelter on.
