excellent news Don!
my morning went well too, body shop fixed my loose panel in ten minutes, a bolt had fallen out and
that sure went easily. Then talked to local garage and they put car up on lift to look at shock. Its a strut and only issue is
whether their spring compressor will handle it, but they are willing to try. I also saw little to no evidence of the leak dealer wanted two
grand to fix. But the big surprise was that i found out my car had KDSS, some acronym for sway bars that can disconnect for greater
articulation. Articulation I and likely the prior owner never used in suburbia. For serious off roaders, a nice feature, for me just complexity and
a point of failure. No other leaks and only very light rust underneath.
I'll go back later this week to get shocks put on. For now, headed outside on a very nice day to wash my car
and maybe cut a few roses for a vase.
