Ford 550 Backhoe What is this part?

I am doing a tranny repair on my dads Ford 550 backhoe. I didn't take it apart so I don't know where these blocks go. Does anyone know where they go?

To me, looks like the wear blocks that go on the forks that shift the gears and ride on the shift collar, but could be entirely wrong. Not sure if this tractor even uses that style.

That looks like the spacer blocks for the front of the loader frame where it bolts to the front end
