The problem with my tractor is it never breaks down.

Considering my newest tractor is a 1969 its had very little troubles.

I have no experience with DPF systems, but know people who have had machines shut down due to issues with these systems. Some of these have been cause by bad sensors that tell the computer there is no DEF present.
Unfortunately you have limited options. But to run this system if needing a new or fairly new tractor soon.

You learn nothing that way. He is asking if people have had problems, and they have. He needs input from the many people who have owned these machines and had them fail.

Your approach is like going to Amazon, spending a grand on a product, and refusing to look at the bad reviews. The bad reviews are more helpful than the good ones.

At least there is a 5 year warranty on emissions. That may outlive me hah.

Well, the mechanic shops were busy long before DPFs ever existed. Better just buy a shovel. DPFs work fairly reliably and I wouldn’t let that stop me from buying the machine I wanted.

While I've never owned or operated a tractor with only a DPF ... I've been driving trucks that had the DPF since they came out ... I run over 150,000 miles per year ... What's your experience?

The type of usage you get commercially far exceeds the amount of hours that noncommercial use will compile for either a truck or tractor. It’s far more likely that your usage will wear out components than non commercial users would.

Let's predict the future!

There will likely be an economic collapse before the DPF on my Kioti is an issue. My wallet will break, and therefore my ability to operate my tractor, before my tractor's DPF/emissions system breaks.

My 2016 Kioti has 1,100 hrs with no issues (only issues I've had were leaking rear diff cases and leaking cab- both dealt with under warranty).

For sure there are POTENTIAL problems. People were predicting the end of the automotive world when computers were introduced. My cars are all older than 20 years and all have over 200k miles and ZERO computer issues.

DPF and DEF are two different (but related) things. Tractors between 25-75 hp have DPF which seem pretty reliable. Tractors above 75 HP have DEF. I don't know how reliable DEF systems are on tractors but on semis and diesel RVs they have been plagued with expensive problems.
