Yesterday was the first day since I got my CK27 to get some seat time. Loaded it up on my buddy's 16 trailer and headed to my Son's in-laws and worked for about 4hrs. The more I get to work with the tractor the more I like it. I was very impressed with myself, he had a lot of request to have done. he asked if i could cut a bank? I had my buddy's Leinbach SO-7 scarper blade I made a nice grade out of that. WOW. My own Leinbach SO came today I see it is much improved from the old one, it has a lot more angle adjustments. I searched VA and NC for one. Found one last Thursday from a place called Wolfe Farm Equip. in Covington VA. In fact they had 2 could be the last 2 every to be made. I called Leinbach and the guy said they had orders for some but was not sure they would have any made. This is Sad it is one of the most versatile blades in that price range. It is a shame they may not make them anymore.

Total hrs now 24. and loving it :p

ck30 7 years old, almost 500 hours. First couple of years a few problems, including the old "cracked front end loader issue". And the hydro radiator issue. And a fuel bowl issue.

All fixed under warranty even after warranty was out on some of them.
My dealer went out of business and another, closer one picked up the ball and fixed me right up..

Good tractor! I'd buy another one. I saved enough money to get the backhoe.. And the tractor is a horse..

Also had problems with my new ford pickup.. Ford wasn't as good as kioti about fixing stuff..

I bought a new ck27hst last spring/summer. I've got 30+ hours is all because they farm isn't local. Absolutely no issues. I use it to push trees, use grapple (a lot), disk, move round bales and now to run a chipper. It's been great and wish I had bought it years ago.

Happy New Year!

What kind of hours do you have on your Kioti tractor and how do you characterize those hours? Was the tractor reliable, or did it have problems. I was eyeballing the "Why never buy Kioti" thread and would like to hear, good and bad, how your experience with a Kioti has been.

As a point of reference, my ex brother in law is a real farmer and has many tractors with thousands of hours on them - in his words "less than a thousand hours, heck that thing is barely broke in!". His tractors are mostly 2WD AG tractors of the John Deere and other larger brands.

I purchased a DK40se HST based on specifications compared to the larger tractormike

Mike,
I purchased my dk4710se kioti tractor in late 2019.currently I have 700 hours on tractor. It has had 5 blown turbo failures with 3 complete replacements. The engine failed at 700 hours and needs to be replaced. My backhoe has never been off and used very little. I don’t mow with it or do any farming of any kind. I mostly use the grapple for clearing trees. Kioti is saying my air filter was clogged and that cause the engine to fail.
I have all the maintenance records plus 2 air filters that I saved from my regular maintenance. All the diesel mechanics that I’ve spoken to and read the warranty records said this is ridiculous and the engine should have been looked into after the second turbo failure at 116 hours. They say debris from the turbo failures is thrown back into the engine.First turbo failure was at 60 hours, second at 116 hours, third at 261, fourth at 350 plus, fifth and final failure at 730 hours with many regens in between the failures. Kioti will not fix the engine even though it is still under warranty. What a mess.Lawyers are involved with no results yet.It has been almost 2 years since the engine failed with no results from Kioti. I’m in contact with Daedong, the engine manufacturer as I speak.Maybe they will help. Anyway,I don’t want to bore you anymore.Would love to hear all of your comments. P. Jerry
