I don’t think there is confusion on that ;) But nowadays all portable generators have bonded neutral. So in the situation of “4 prong” connectors, plugging that in will blow your GFCI breakers because of 2 paths to ground…

Lol, but at home the generator is plugged into a receptacle that is attached to a ground at the main box.

That is the purpose of a bonded neutral and ground. To make a standalone unit safe in the field. Floating would only be used in a situation when there is another source of ground and neutral like a structure. But as I said before I don’t get paid to do electrical work.

Yes, many manufacturers don’t do this. My GN Diamond C has dual 8K SS axles and a 18k rating. So Diamond C adds the tongue weight. But not many others do. 1 of the reasons I picked it.

Since my trailer is 7x22 I do 3 rows of 5 3x3x8 bales. And will do 3 rows of 6 bales if it I am in a hurry. 18 bales is my limit. That puts the trailer at max. That is 3 tall since i don’t have the width.

I researched this for my stihl and it/they say full tank storage. The Stihl ”motomix” has a shelf life of 2 years. So I buy a small can of that for storage.

My truck is 11,700 and my trailer is 18,000. 29,700 total rating…. Capacity 25,300.

The house doesn’t pull propane during the winter. It is for the indoor boiler for DHW in the summer. Outdoor boiler provides all heating needs when running. That is my concern with propane for the generator. The loss in efficiency, and same reason I don’t use it for winter heat ;)

I just looked at the set off the auger. They are forged pengo aggressor 40/50 made in the USA. I am sure they wear down since it takes so long to make a hole. Kind of a catch 22.

The STIHL 2 in 1 is cheating then. It works without any thought at all. It is like $35. I have a RM chain that has been sharpened with the 2 in 1 about 25 times and it cuts like new. I sharpen after each cord. I burn about 15 cords a year.

I bought a CIH Farmall 75C. Same tractor different color. Like it a lot. Dealer consideration was out the window for me since their are none anywhere close. So I picked the make and model purely on value and features. NH PS75 and CIH 75C topped the list.

The pengo carbides are 3x the price of the regular teeth. Wonder if they are worth it?

Extra HP is cheap compared to digging the hole. My guess is they didn’t bring enough pipe. No good reason to be more than about 40-50 feet from the bottom originally. If the well collapsed some you take a section out or 2. But I wouldn’t start that way on purpose.

I thought it was the opposite. A diverted allows you to feather the loader control. 3rd function like a rear remote is on or off and can only be feathered by quick cycle of the control. I have a diverter and I can feather it with the joystick of my loader.

Ammonia works 100% of the time. There is nothing better. Works too good to replace bear spray. You get ammonia on your stuff trying to keep the bears away while hunting... You will never see a game animal ever again either.

I would set an amount you are willing to spend to try to retrieve the stuff and then stop…. Then maybe it gets done for that amount. Then you can decide if you want to drop new stuff in. New stuff in the hole should be about $2k if you do it yourself. You can just use black poly 500’ long...

New well will be 20-25k…if the well still works 10k is the check to write. maybe pay them for removal only. Put new pump, wiring and pipe yourself to save $$.

Agree on the attraction, seen them roll in the spot after it was sprayed. I had hoped they improved it. I haven’t bought any in years. Ammonia is all I have used in the last 20 years. Little spray bottle camping or a pie pan around the house sitting and you never see a bear the rest of your life.
