It's not difficult or expensive to put a higher rated relief valve cartridge in your 806. I'm pretty certain a relief from a 66 series tractor will be rated higher but still safe to install in your 806. Check your system pressure before and after.

It's not about how the backhoe valve is fed, it's about how oil returns from the valve. Spool seals for many don't like pressure spikes in the return circuit, much less sustained high pressure.

Running an open center system over a properly installed and adjusted relief valve continuously can and will trash a pump in short order. I have already explained the damage to the backhoe valve. They simply do not tolerate high pressure in the return circuit. There's no mystery with that.

Flow isn't likely to be different than a joystick running off the same pump. It all boils down to how convenient (or inconvenient) the control levers are to reach and use.

If you go that route be sure to buy a power beyond capable valve which will have 3 connections to the tractor. You cannot use a Tee anywhere in an open center system except for combining return to tank lines. Having a momentary switch mounted on the loader joystick will be far more convenient.

Westendorf is a high dollar brand that typically makes loaders for much bigger tractors than a 2120. Retrofitting a 20+ year old tractor is probably a build-to-order deal, at least for the bracketry. I'd dig a little harder. Woods, Ansung, KMW may be less costly.

It's not difficult to install a 3 hose power beyond capable joystick valve on a 2120. Make all 3 connections at the distribution block near the brake pedals.
