Yup! I have fully acclimated to the south now from many years in NH, NY and AK. When it's in the 40s and breezy now, I don't want to be outside on a tractor. It took about 12 years to get to that point, neighbors thought I was crazy, now I get it lol

    3/4” or 1” cordless impacts

The facts don't support the higher (measured) torque argument, all brands marketing lies about it, but I fully understand the battery issue, I'm tied into a lesser brand myself. Started 25+ years ago when that's what I could afford and just stuck with it. Dewalt is definitely the upper tier...

Bucket "sticking" when dumping (newer tractor)

are you dumping fast at a lower engine RPM? Keep those RPMs up It might happen when full because the weight of the dirt causes the bucket to dump faster than the hydraulic system is pumping oil to the cylinders causing an air pocket and takes a few seconds to catch up.

It is a photo illusion or is the wix filter diameter a good bit smaller? The main body seems the same, but the mating surface looks a lot smaller in the picture, might be because the stock is closer to the lens. Defiantly shorter which could account for the weight difference.

worst case, you can probably get the other end of the hose off fairly easy, but it'll make a mess, maybe plug it with a golf tee or something, then walk it to a vice and get it apart with force. I had the same issue, I didn't have an open end wrench big enough, hence the adjustable one.
