Not great news on the well front, I measured it this morning. Water is at 53 feet End of well is 66 feet Not much distance between the water level and bottom. On a positive note, it seems clean at the bottom, and it hasn't been used in about 15 years.

Just as the initial test, do I need 2 pipes, one for water and one for air, or can I just pump air down the well and water will come up? Seems like the air would just bubble out and not force water up with just an air pipe and nothing else?

last tractor 82 Kubota L295DT had an under tractor horizontal rear exhaust, which would fume me out. New LS MT240HE has horizontal forward exhaust, and I never notice it. Maybe it's because it is 39 years newer, maybe because it is Tier IV, either way it is a non-issue.

same with mine, the front axle needed a full quart added after I checked it a several hours after delivery/use. Do drips or leaks, and level has not changed since, many more hours. Underfilled from depot and not checked when setup for delivery by dealer.

I measured the stock toplink. it's 2 inches longer than my stock toplink, and I added 4 inches of distance with the Pats easy change, so in effect, based off the stock setup, I really gain 2 inches up and a whole lot down.

brought home a MT240 this week, dealer said they have beefed up the frame design (of course they said that) but it does look like the FEL brackets are pretty strong and they have tried to distribute the weight a little more forward and a lot rearward.
