I heard about a house(mansion) that recently sold in AZ for $15 million and less than 24 hours later it was sold again for 17 million. A profit of 2 mil. in 24 hours before real estate and other fees.

Why I quit hating soccer.....besides the soccer moms!

Not bad, when you consider the Officer is carrying about 15 lbs. of equipment and armor. I've seen an Officer catch up to an offender and pull out the taser. It's amazing how fast a fleeing suspect will stop when tased. It's like somebody pulled the parking brake.

Around here they put furring strips over the old roofing and screw the steel onto the furring strips. The steel does not touch the old roofing or felt.

Americans getting softer? What’s your opinion?

We went to PBR in Shipshewana last night. There are still a few tough kids out there. The money helps. One of the bullfighters got thrown about 10 feet in the air and had the wind knocked out of him. After a 5 minute break he was back at it.

Poor people don't pay road tax. They ride a bicycle. That's why they use tax money to install bike lanes and bicyclists pay no road taxes. It's not very practical though to ride a bicycle 15 miles to get groceries.

A dairy here is using robot milkers. My dad managed a rural country cemetery and if it was a slower time on the farm, he would dig the graves by hand instead of calling the excavator. He was good with a shovel. Of course my brothers and I would take turns helping. A little extra money could...

I remember baling hay when it was 100F with humidity at about 50%. I don't miss it. My dad would eat salt crystals like candy bars. Nobody will do it now, they all use collectors. I still stack about 250 bales in my barn, but I wait for a cooler day.
