I sold it because it was too slow. They are great machines for large estate owners and steep hills, but a zero turn is 2-3 times faster in commercial applications. I just replaced it with another ZD-1211-72. Now I have 2 new ZD-1211’s and we can mow much faster.

Yes. If I advertise feed hay and sell some, I will pull bales from the middle. The uppers, or any others that have sat too long or too high moisture go to mushroom. Sometimes I use spray paint dots to identify what bales are feed and what is not.

Deere’s big rotary mowers are made in China and Mexico. Best ones you can buy IMO. My CX15 is a world class money maker.

If you leave all the bales as they were baled in the field, all the tops of the bales get rained on. If I stack them in pods of 3 or 4 layers high, 2 of 3 or 3 of 4 stay dry.

My chance came & went. To make a triple, you have to add the double mower all at once. It’s one unit. Its also real expensive. I am forever going to be using the double mower, unless I sell the whole thing and start over.

Yeah, at one time that was a great tractor. I bought it for $40,000 which is dirt cheap, but it was pretty much shot when I bought it. I got 3 years out of it and sold it for $47,000 so I was real happy with that. The Challenger is much nicer.

We make about 1,200 tons per year and the equipment is barely up to the task in some ways. Really need another loader tractor. Usually discbine blades are throw away, but they are reversible, so you get 2 edges from them. They’re maybe $2 a piece.

I’ve splattered more fawns than I care to discuss. It was really bad when I made mostly feed hay, because you are in the fields earlier, when the fawns can’t run as well. When first born, their instinct is to lay low they are almost scentless.

Yes! The Massey Ferguson has air brakes, so it has an engine-driven air copressor, just like a big CDL truck. I have a coupler at the front at the base of the hood. You can see the red hose coming out. I have a blow gun hooked to it.

Hey all, I decided to sell my F-3680 and replace it with a ZD-331 or similar diesel zero turn. PM me if interested. It was just completely serviced and is mechanically very good. Recent motor mounts. Deck is much newer than tractor. New front tires this spring. 72” side discharge.

Once the tires on the trailer get into even just 2” of soft ground, the rolling resistance gets really hard for the truck to get through. I know this from hauling hay off of soft fields.

I remember when pricing a trailer with another reputable company, the sales rep bashing DC pretty good. He said they were having troubles with trailer weld quality. He was prattling on about “the father retired and left the company to the son(s) and they didn’t keep up the quality standards”...
