    Should I buy this truck?

Spoke with seller again. He is getting the title and picture of the VIN stamped on the frame to me soon. Looks like it might still happen, but who really knows… I think the seller is OK, but he’s real busy like me and it takes a while to get things done. Reason I am staying persistent on this...

It’s gotten more strange. So the seller said they would only share title pictures with my bank. He did share a picture of the title and a picture of the VIN in the trucks door jamb. However on the picture on the VIN number on the trucks door jamb, the sticker looks like it was ruined. Then...

I have 60,000 on my emissions RAM and haven’t had any problems. 60K miles not a lot, but wait, there’s more. Low miles or short trips is actually what gives today’s diesel trucks problems. I do both. Usually it means not enough time to heat-up the emissions system. So I should have/should be...

Damn thats crazy expensive for that saw. If you are going from a 261 to a 462, I’d look at a lightweight bar, so you can keep the weight down. The power to weight ratio on that saw isn’t all that great, but better than 261C. I guess it all depends on how much you want to spend, and how much...

Is there anything you would salvage from a barn fire baler?

I have been told by many older/experienced mechanics that burnt equipment was to be avoided unless its given to you for free and you were able to take a chance on it with little risk. I wouldn’t pay a penny for it unless it still had paint on it and was unburned.

I don’t have a problem with this very much-even with a heavy 15’ cutter. You have to cut lower so the deck of the cutter forms a “vacuum” shell over the area being cut. I find when I do a job like this, the customer wants the vines pulled out of the trees. Vines seem to bother my Customers as much as the brush. They are a real nuisance. Nothing a good pull rope attached to the tractor won’t solve, but sometimes tree branches get broke in the process.
