I was thinking it could pick up a wire lead out of the 7 pin plug on back of tractor and power a battery charger.
Inverters are great. Have one in the Ram and it’s surprisingly powerful.
Carefully check the current capacity of the power coming from the tractor. An inverter can draw a lot of current really fast. But something small like 100-200W might be OK.

We used an inverter in the van when traveling with the kids. Rather than pay for expensive entertainment system, we used it to plug in a 13" tv/vcr and they could watch approved shows. It also kept the screen from bothering other drivers.

I don’t think I’ll ever pursue a charger in a tool box. Probably just a sturdy plastic storage box for the blower and all the junk I take along with me in tractor cab. I really dislike clutter and loose objects in cab. I have dewalt charger that plugs into cig lighter socket. That could probably be run from tractor into a plastic tool box, too. Maybe a project for next winter.

Still way to soggy up here a few of the big guys are getting haylage of but I sure do wonder about the compaction with that equipment.

Its soggy here, too.
Couple showers moved through while I was mowing.

At about 12, I lost my instrument cluster.

Went black on me and lost all controls except engine. Not a damn thing would work. Agriteer ran me down a new cluster. $1,800! o_O
It also required programing. I bet I’m out $2,400 by the time its all said & done….’bout cried when they told me the price….
At least they had it in stock and installed it on a Saturday. Had me mowing again in 4 hrs

I hadn't looked but there used to be outfits that repair these newer dashs. Of course that would keep the tractor down a couple of weeks which is not a good scenario.

My cousin will be making a muddy mess doing his haylage. Doesn't matter the weather. When time to cut it is time to cut weather be d^%$............

Years ago I ran the merger for him

Farmtronics for Canadians.

www.farmtronics.com

Yes, I know about them. They are probably the ones who also broke my cluster.
I had mine sent to farmtronics for a repair last fall (background lights died). I got it back and installed cluster and it started glitching. I figured loose wire. Tried messing with harnesses, etc. No help.
Then it finally went black for good yesterday.

To buy the reman cluster for $1,800, you have to give them your core, so I can’t send it back to them unless I want to wait. I was also told some glitches cannot be fixed.

I really don’t want to wait for a long period of time, and the tractor was unmovable.

Actually that is a November picture. Point being doesn't matter if there is standing water my cousin will be on the fields

Is this the cuz you’ve had some “issues” with?

To me that is a bit backwards, ruining a field for a small tonage of haylage, But that's me.

It would be. Not sure where I posted this before but he just keeps getting bigger and bigger. Several weeks ago he called about running equipment as it is go time on corn and haylage. It didn’t work out but wanted to as he had gotten better and bigger equipment and wanted to try out their newer merger.

The stories I could tell you…………….

Let’s just say many years ago, way before he was as big as he is now another farmer and I talked about it was only a matter of time before he killed someone due to how equipment was kept and ran. It happened.

Tried to jam in some mowing on a cool, overcast day. Couldn’t bale hay, so grabbed mowing tractor and knocked out a few fields. Here’s a “driving range” I cut for a Customer.

Steep part is surprisingly steep. Uphill tires feel very light.
This might be my scariest one.
