No power after battery change on New Holland Workmaster 33

Long shot, but since you’ve checked the cables, make sure all of your safety switches are not set and preventing it from working. Wiggle the shifter and leave it in neutral, make sure the pto is off, etc. Safety switch wiring may have broke somewhere. Since you’ve had sporadic electricity...

    Alternator not charging my battery

Check the alternator belt first; make sure it’s not slipping. With the engine off, check the battery voltage- should be roughly 12.5 or 12.6 Then start the engine and check yhe battery voltage again - should be roughly 13.6 to 14.6. If the voltage doesn’t change (go up) while the engine is...

Can I add anti-gel to my tractor

I get my diesel in 5 gallon containers; I put some Silver PS in each container before I fill it up, so it’s always already mixed in. I do that year round. Keep the Red 911 PS bottles available just in case I need it, but never have. The only equipment I’ve ever had gelling issues with is...

    Heavy wet crap

Bucket is the best choice. I have a blower on an enclosed skidsteer, and it is a pain to use in wet snow. I have the blower off now and just use the bucket; much quicker and less stressful. I have my tractor as a back up. Use to plow with a truck until about three years ago. Could...

Oil & Fuel Hydraulic Fluid Shows "Low" After Removing Backhoe, Should I Add Oil?

I’d add oil to the full mark. It’s measuring what’s in there now. The level shouldn’t change if you put the backhoe back on. I like to check the level on a regular basis, because it helps to detect slow leaks, especially in implements.

Steam Boiler or Steam Generator for Weed Control

I tried killing weeds and grass around my inground pool one year using one of those large propane torches that you attach to a 25lb propane canister. It burned the tops just fine, but not the roots, so everything ultimately grew back. I’d think you’d have the same results with steam - unless...

snowblower on my 425 does not throw snow very well

I use a 50 hp skidsteer with a blower. The blower performance obviously depends on how wet the snow is. With normal to wetter snow, the first path using the full blower width I just have to go slower. After the first path is opened, I usually just use half of the blower width in order to...

    Tire chains on tractor tires

    Removal of Gauge Condensation

My son would get condensation in his Ford Edge taillights lens in the winter; it wouldn’t go away until summer. If you can cover the gauge to prevent more water hitting it, but leave room for airflow, then maybe stick a small fan by it to direct even just a small air flow over it; that may dry...

Can you guys help me select the right snow removal implement for my specific application ?

If money is not an issue, get both. There will be occasions where the type of snowfall that you get (light, wet, drifting, etc) will dictate which one would be best to use. I used to plow with my F350 and a Western MVP, but also have a tracked skid steer with a blower. I would use the...

Just echoing the others above……that is normal. I just leave the little piles there and, as they build up, just push them back a little further or blow them away. The ground is still warm (I’m in the north east), so for a little while, any significant snow we get will basically have a layer...

I doubt that you’ll find a plow blade that can be swapped between a truck and a tractor. The truck will need the mount that will hold whatever brand of plow it is (such as Western, Fisher, Boss, etc). The tractor would have to have the same type of hardware (receivers). Then there is also...

    Mouse/Dishwasher Discharge Hose Question

Had a similar issue maybe 7 or so years ago, except the mouse had chewed through the hard plastic housing of the pump (I think that’s what it was). I had had a small opening (maybe 4” square) cut into the drywall behind the dishwasher previously to access a pipe joint leak, and left it open...

Is there a way to encourage deer to eat something?

    Well Issues

Maybe dig out the dirt around the wellhead a few feet and see if you see any holes in the casing that water could escape from. If there was a break in the pipe casing lower than that, it probably would not come to the surface unless there was alot of force pushing it up. Is the water...

Check all of the easy stuff first - fuel filter, air filter, fuel lines, gunk in the fuel tank, possibly bad fuel, check your belts, fluid levels, etc After the rpms drop, do they come back up on their own? If you shut it off, and then tutn it back on, does it run normal?

    Mahindra 4110 Fuel Filter Leaking

It should always be fully open or full closed (so valve handle all the way one way, or all the way the other way). My understanding is that it’s there mainly just to shut off the fuel flow when changing the filter.
  142. S

    Mahindra 4110 Fuel Filter Leaking

The valve in your picture is, I think, in the closed position. That’s easy to test - just unscrew and take the filter and housing off, then move the valve between open and closed to confirm which is which. Fuel will flow out with it in the open position when the filter is removed

Don’t know anything about that mower, but in general, raise it to the highest level and then mow. After that, just lower it a bit each time you mow until you get it to your desired permanent height. At that point, you should be able to mow at normal speed

My first tractor was a B7500. As was said sbove, it got the job done , but just have to be patient. I had two large piles of foundation dirt on my land when I bought the house. When moving the dirt, at times it felt like I was using a little tablespoon……just kept at it though.

Running a tiller through it will find the rocks. What I would do with mine (similar setup to yours) is just make some passes with the tiller, then go around and put rocks in the loader and create a rock pile somewhere to dump them. After you think you have all if the rocks removed, it’ll...
