Front-End Loader Koyker K2 - type of attachment for bucket?

I gather from your recommendation that the existing attachment method on a Koyker K2 is not skid steer. No it is not skid steer, I would describe the top mount as similar to skid steer, the bottom is just a pin on, it seems to be Koykers early attempt at a quick change system that never...

Plasma cutting - what am I doing wrong?

Dug out some of mine, the cut quality does have a lot to do with how steady of rate you can keep the torch moving- obviously I had some problems with the controlling movement. One thing that has helped me improve ( lately ) is to watch the sparks exiting the bottom of the cut, there is a...

Rental Yards here now require 3/4 ton truck or better when towing.

Well this is certainly interesting. After I posted the 80 psi for load range E tires thought I should actually check my own truck , and low and behold Dodge does not list 80 psi anywhere that I have looked also when you add the axle ratings together it comes out to a totally different # than...

Rental Yards here now require 3/4 ton truck or better when towing.

I noticed this on another thread now check the listed tire inflation (35psi) someone correct me if I'm wrong , but shouldn't the pressure be closer to 80 psi If this truck is going to pull an 11,000 lbs.+ trailer, those air pressure #s look like passenger car inflation pressures?? I just want...

How do you store you logging/tow chain?

not sure- but are you describing something like this? This tractor was missing the cross brace when I got it so when I fabbed up a cross support, cut the box in half (to fit). then drilled and tapped some mounting holes in the cross brace and bolted it all together, works well for...

Anyone modified a pull type, 3 bottom plow to 3 point?

Update - went a head and plowed the field with the JD pull behind 3 bottom but there are areas that are just to hard to back the plow into so i went ahead and bandaid repaired the tiller . Once I got it apart, it was the same problem that caused the gear damage the first time, the nut that...

First timer- field prep for field grass

when you mentioned a log chained cross ways- it brought back old memories. When I was 16 my dad owned a 230 acre ranch and we had to level a couple of the larger fields ,dad had taken 3 full length telephone poles and cabled them together in a Z pattern. We had a Case 970 AGRI-KING...

    stump pulling

I would just go slow (take your time) if you dig around it with the hoe then if the roots are big you may have to do what I did with this one- clean, around the really large roots and then chainsaw ,or saws all them these stumps can be very deceptive when you can't see the bottom, it took...

First timer- field prep for field grass

I'm sure that's true with a 3 point plow, but not so sure that is entirely correct for this style pull type John Deere (how about it? deere pull type plow owners) here's a picture the amount of work to stop, back up, re-align the plow would make this a real hassle. The property is only 10...
