Depends on generator. A generac standby needs constant battery charging while operating during power outage. This is designed into the generator. Some generators have battery charging windings in alternator, some dont. It depends on generator specifications.

I made my own output box for my shop generator. Box cost $9.30 and another $13 for two ct and meter combo units plus $8 for manual start switch. And as stated elsewheres…theres no such thing as 9 gauge wire.

In all honesty, a 9kw generator can only supply 37 amps at 240volts.

I have a 1000 lb rear ballast now myself. I used to move and install alot of generators. Some of those topped 1500#. Even though the tractor could lift it, it was hard on the front end. The rear weight really helped. Without weight the tractor was real tipsy.

If you have good clearance, you could always add a cyclone rake. I use this instead of the rear bags when the lawn is too wet. They make many different conversion kits. But those rakes aint cheep. I do love mine for picking up pine cones and pine needles. Does a great job

With gen3, all you need to do is buy an additional gen3 router. Those routers are a mesh router.

Bypassing the controller…… man, thats alot of reworking of the system. The controller interconnects everything. Especially if its fuel injected.

Those buttons more than likely control power to a relay. The relay does the real switching. Relays fail all the time. Need to do some troubleshooting. Just swapping button for toggle wont bypass the relays.

They make a tool to push down on the tabs that hold the rails in the posts. Basically 2 flat pieces of steel. This way you can pull out one 8 or 16’ section without having to move all rails. You can then trim the rail to center it. Are you trying to add the support for a gate?

Just swap the quick disconnects below tractor at valve. They should be color coded.

I keep 3 sharpened chains with me while cutting. After the 3rd is getting dull, i sharpen all 3 in prep for next cutting. Doesnt take too long. Also, good to blow out all gunk in saw and clean air filters while im at it. This unit brings chains up to like new conditions.
