    I ran nail guns daily for many years - Hitachi was our preferred gun. The steeper angle allows access into tighter spaces. Not an issue for everybody whose just framing 1 building or such. The battery operated units look like the way to go today.

    I think they are used for transportation in big cities. But you are correct they are older and/or cheaper models with unstable lithium. Todays premium lithium LiPO4 is way more stable and much less likely to burn than that old stuff.

    Also 10' can be narrow if the approach is a 90º turn. And if you are going to use openers on the gate you may loose some of the access opening. My rolling gate stays 1' in the opening when fully open due to guide wheels and motor.

    WE DID NOT weld the blades on. We FOUND the nuts welded on so we could not remove the blades without cutting the pivot bolts which we found unnecessary for our immediate needs. The Blades still rotate. I hope this helps

    Thanks to our 5k forklift. Lifted one side at a time by slipping the forks under the tire (as close together as possible with the tractor on the ground). Then put the tractor on a jack stand as the OP showed and use the same forks to remove the liquid filled tire to put spacers on.

    I will get a pic later today. Hardware is grade 8 bolt, nut, thick washers, and lock washer. Torqued to gawd almighty tight The fastener is much harder than the chain or the blade. We will do a test and check it... then a longer test and check it again until we are certain it's not going anywhere.

    I would add cutting edges and allow them the hang 1/2" below the angle iron. A toplink would greatly improve the workability. Changing the angle while running can increase or decrease the cut as needed. That is a good looking unit.

We tried removing the blades only to find somebody welded the blade pivot huts and the the center pivot nut on. :( Our best option seemed to be to cut the blades and drill a hole for fastening the chains.     I have a skidsteer with a 7ft BH on it (sometimes) It is a formidable weed eater. Great having the cutter out front. Too bad the skidsteer is so short wheel-based that it teeters in rough terrain, slapping the mower up and down. Tracks might be better. I have tires.

    My 2018 MX5200 Regens at the drop of a hat. Seems like every 30 hours or so. Regen 3 times in 100 hours so far. I try to keep the rpms up. 1500 for traveling, 1800-2300 for work. This is often more rpms than needed to accomplish the task. Still it does it again and again... :rolleyes:
