Well that was easy, new seal seems to have done the trick. Sat all night and still dry after a bit of a workout. I suspect it was just a substandard seal since the replacement had twice the structure....

Since your not starting with any color match concerns the Rustoleum Apple red is a decent match for the body panels and their Spruce green is popular for the frames on the Frederick's reconditioned units. I took a frame color part off on my YM and cleaned it up for a color scan that blended well.

The rim in the pic is showing the face of the rim that points out which positions the wheel over the axle. Owners sometimes flip the rims around to widen the stance but that's not fun for the stub's if the bucket is heavily loaded.

Are your front wheels installed properly or did someone spin them to increase overall width. Doing that can overload the axles.

Get a meter on the ignition switch and confirm your connected to a switched power terminal and not an unswitched spare.

I would take readings at the housing where the upper radiator hose connects, that should five you a reasonable coolant temp reading. As ponytug mentioned those temps are not a concern at all.

I've been running a 48" HD flail with hammers on my Yanmar with 23Hp at the pto (just past 1/2 throttle) mostly on brush up to about 2" and it chews the hell out of it laying down a beautiful carpet of mulch in it's wake.

My thinking as a side business it's hard to control what and when you cut and that little extra to power thru makes a difference.

At your rated Tractor PTO Hp a 5ft flail may be a bit underpowered for your use.

Rule of thumb for pipe threads is 2-1/2 to 3 turns by hand for a correctly cut thread.

Any ball valve properly rated for the pressure will work for a dead-end shutoff.

Yeah as others mentioned, time to pull the manifold apart. The manifold and check valve can be cleaned up and reused, the relief valve if it's weeping should be replaced along with the nipples and adapters.

Finally back onto the sawmill shed project, got the roof up over the weekend and started framing the enclosed areas.

Closely inspect the alignment between those 2 rails and if they are dead on then the lip can be filed lengthwise with the rail to create a gentle slope.

Have you visually confirmed the shaft is rotating with the lever.

I've been using my HD Bestco with hammers and its been easily chewing thru 2" plus brush without issue, it's been working great.

My normal brain function when I buy new equipment like my Grey 2310 is to learn them inside out and I have no control over that habit. 15 years into Wrangler TJ's there is barely a bolt, screw or device I cannot call out. It's a sickness from being a retired mechanical project manager.

The closest to our YM2310 is the YM276 that was sold here in the states and the manual is available from Hoye.

Yeah it does need to be reasonably dry for the best results.

Pretty sure the hooks just get hammered into a log or timber for lifting and dragging.

Try the Cabots Australian Timber oil (not the water based) it is without a doubt the best I've come across. If you want a proving ground for wood treatments in wet environments we got it.

Pretty much the same thing here on the southern coast, our local Elec Coop has been pulling fiber for almost 2 years now and lit up their first small section last winter. Been on their list for almost 18 months and with any luck later this year we'll be fiber direct.

That is a sheave type pulley and as K5lwq suggested just remove the 3 bolts and thread them into the threaded holes and in a consistent pattern tighten them and it will come apart.

An old time real plumber would have just bedded the base of the closet in plaster and let it set, the old way.

Might want to try a pilot bearing puller, I have a HF that has several different diameter adapters. They can also usually be rented at local auto parts stores.

As long as it's a forged steel 90 deg ell pressure ratings should not be an issue as they are typically rated for 3000# plus. No need for galvanizing on forged steel fittings.

Keep an eye on your local Craigslist and Marketplace, parts tractors pop up regularly and fenders can be an easy swap.
