Sprayed the pear trees today for fire blight with Ferti-lome... my FlowZone Typhoon 3.0 backpack sprayer is one of the best purchases I've ever made. Uses every drop of mix and has a very powerful pump to reach the top of the trees. Now to clean some siding with it.

The 3350 doesn't have a traditional DPF, and the issue isn't only that it "regens" a lot... It's that the tractor becomes basically unuseable due to numerous regen issues. To my understanding. Which is why dealers still have NEW ones from years past, that they won't sell... They are that bad...

Yah, we ran into this when we built my shop. They stayed that standard homeowners insurance was limited to about $30k for out buildings... My shop was $100k. So, we had to get a farm policy to cover it. The farm policy actually cost us LESS! 🤣 We pay less than $100/mo

They will put some propolis there, but not enough to keep it from opening. The lids fit very tight, so there isn't much of a gap to induce propolizing.

I buy from Byron seed. Both buckwheat and phacelia. They are local to me. Phacelia is a heavy nectar producer... So $100 for an acre is easy to recoup in honey production.

Finished some aluminum work on a few traps, using scrap. Got a call from a fella I sold hives to this winter. He bought hives and frames from another builder, and the frames are ****... So I'll be building 50 for him to replace them.

We till, broadcast, cultipack at a rate of 25lb per acre. So, $100 per acre. We use this and buckwheat as nectar/cover crop on this plot. It is monoculture.

We planted 1 acre of phacelia last week, for honey production. We are planting two (72) cell trays this weekend with tomatoes, sweet peppers, hot peppers, cabbage etc… We will also be planting bush beans, 2800 stalks of sweet corn, and 96 pumpkin vines

We have a lot of deer, not uncommon to see 10 in the back yard during the afternoon hours. We routinely find shed antlers in the lawn. Lots of frogs, bats, snakes and the like. We have fox, coyote, wild turkey and bald eagles on the property too... Some days it's like living in a Disney...

Yessir, they are about 16” in length. So the 6” flat is laid down on the saw. The dado bade .25” depth of cut. I have a mark on my fence so that I know where to stop the taper. I don’t have a photo sadly.

I don't know. I've had gravel drives for a long time, and not rutted them. It probably depends on whether you do it right. Simply throwing down gravel wouldnt work... But excavated it, throw down some coarse material and throw 38s on top. We have really wet clay here, and it holds up...

Frost seeding only works if the seed makes soil contact, and you will have freeze/thaw cycles. Without that, it's just throwing seed on the ground
