Our snow season is winding down here so I'm 80% sure we are done grooming. Was a good year.

No… but there is a connection…
At 50 mom had always failed giving up smoking and a friend that quit said he kicked the habit by going for a walk every time he wanted to smoke and if that was not enough… run!
Giving up smoking led mom to become a National Ranked Ultrarunner and was still running marathons past age 75 until her doc said time to give it up for walking…
At 85 she was still walking miles of trails each day and recognized by many…
I picked up the name because I was the one doing the race registrations and keeping her stats.
Her orthopedic Doctor forbid me from running saying big guys are not built for the physical impact on the body.
After Christmas cleanup at the farm age 84 with her American River 50 mile jacket.
