    Look up, How to load truck bed backed into a dry ditch. Just make certain the ditch you can drive the truck out of. I use my front ditch all the time. NO RAMPS ever needed. IF you are worried the tail gate would be tooooo weak, then remove it when loading or unloading. (y)

    If using the PowerShift in a designated band, no clutching is required. When you change bands, yes, a clutch is needed. I typically change bands with the PowerShift in neutral only, never in a selected forward or reverse motion.

    FYI, thepumpguysc is highly recommended by Yanmar, Kubota, Mitsubishi, Satoh and Shibaura Japan made tractor brands. One thing we recently discovered on another forum was, the hard fuel lines can clog up if the tractor has sat long. Microbes are evil to diesel fuel.

    From what I've read, pushing a heavy load and turning is a no-no. Best to push forwards, back-up, take a different angle and push forwards again. The Komatsu and Yanmar machines both behave this way.
