    Barndominium/Shop or "real" House?

I like your layout, except for the balcony idea. I don't think you'll ever use that space once you are living there. I would push out your kitchen to the exterior wall and have a dining table. Same with the garage, move the wall out all the way out to the full width of the building. I'm...

Placement of doors in 40x60x14 workshop

I haven't built my shop yet, but in my plan, I'm going to have two big roll up doors at each gable end of the building, and a regular 3 foot door off to the right. My thinking is that I'll be able to drive my tractor in one door, and out the other with the batwing up, and not have to back up...

    Where to go tractor shopping?

When I talked to my Kubota dealer, they where offering 0% for 72 months, but you also had to buy their insurance, and I felt that was a huge increase in the monthly payment. I later learned about Farm Bureau when I was looking at Massey Ferguson. By the time it was all said and done, I...

    Barndominium/Shop or "real" House?

From what I've seen, a lot of home designs follow a trend just like fashion, but in homes, they seem to change every ten years, give or take. The last trend seemed to be the Farmhouse style with white board and baton exteriors, cedar posts and accents, and a massive amount of white on the...

    Where to go tractor shopping?

I bought a new tractor last year and for me, the process started with looking for something used with everything I wanted online. I think that www.tractorhouse.com has the most listings, but that could vary by location. I've always been a big fan of Kubota, so that was my first choice when...
