tractor won't start (or try to start) - SOLVED

I had a similar experience. I found by jiggling the hi/med/Low shifter and turning the key worked for me. I had just plowed my taters up got off and must have hit it with my knee. Nothing I did would cause it to start. I would have guessed it wouldn't matter but it sure fired up when I...

How far is too far for driving tractor on the road?

Lots of great feedback thanks to all. So to answer a few of the questions that have come up. My disc is 6 Ft standard 10 blade. I do not have any liquid ballast in my tires. The terrain is a mixture of flat (about 1/2) hilly (about 1/2) and some parts can be pretty curvy. Its not the foot...

    Tractors and (upcoming) tariffs?

The idea of tariff's is to even the playing field for goods right? With the intent that good ole capitalism will get involved and someone will say... Hey I can make that in the US cheaper, make a profit AND help the US economy. The reason we often buy goods made in other countries is because...

    Adjusting Hydraulic capacity on DK45Se

I think my FEL is limited to 2700# if memory serves me. Th big bucket I think is about 1.3 yards or so is heavy (the 900# I am referring to above). I use that to throw mulch in between our blackberry, grapes, blueberry plants. About 5 acres worth on our fruit farm.

How far is too far for driving tractor on the road?

17.8 mph seems about right at WOT. I run slightly less than that so I'd guess about 15 mph. The route I take to the property crosses #1 on 96 highway a two lane there. Lots of traffic but fairly well traffic lighted up. A few small towns along the way but the bulk of it is pretty rural...

How far is too far for driving tractor on the road?

Hadn't though about a roll back... Hmmm. Gonna check that idea out and cost it out. Gotta measure the overall length with the disc to see if its feasible. I found a trailer to rent via neighborstrailer.com and a 3/4 ton truck to haul it from the rental its now down to about $250 or so for...

How far is too far for driving tractor on the road?

As for the truck and trailer I didn't/don't think no mare than I am doing I need to buy truck/trailer. Most of my farm land is within a mile of me. I drive that no problem. I did look at the rental of a truck and trailer (hence the 4-500 rate). Driving it would only require fuel, and...

How far is too far for driving tractor on the road?

I have some hunting property here in central NC I really want to build up/fix up a few food plots. A few years ago had a forestry mulcher dude come in and make me a 1 acre plot 2 - 1/4 acre each food plots and shooting lanes in the pin planted cutover. It has proven to work pretty well for...

    "I'm not a robot"

If it continues (or to see if you have malware on your computer anyway), try downloading adwcleaner by malwarebytes.org. It runs in about 30 seconds and will search your memory for running malware, then quarrantines it. I have seen malware cause weird issues when browsing.

    Adjusting Hydraulic capacity on DK45Se

I have not lifted anything with known weight near the limit. Heaviest thing I have is a 900# bucket that has a conveyor in the bottom for shooting out mulch, gravel etc. I can only fill it about 1/2 full of wettish mulch before it refuses to lift it. In times past I have moved around full...

    Adjusting Hydraulic capacity on DK45Se

Hey all, I am wondering if I could/should try and adjust my hydraulics to get a little more umph out of it. Its a 2012 (at least that's when I bought it). It seems to me to hit the capacity too easy and won't lift. Sometimes when using the FEL and lifting the rear wheels come off the ground...

    New kioti owner

Welcome to the Kioti family. Once you go Orange you won't go back... Or something like that. :) I have a dk45se for about 12 ish years. Other than a nagging PTO issue (resolved now you can search for the post, it was a relay (thanks again "grs") it has been pretty great. Mine doesn't have...

    Compact Tractors W/ Grapple

I added the third function to my Kioti. I'm not a mechanic but watched some you tubes, read some helps and it took me about 2 hrs if I remember correctly. I LOVE my grapple. The bucket... not so much. It is useful for hauling/moving gravel around and scraping my driveway. I opted to...

3 Point Hitch slow and unintended dropping

My kioti often drops slowly when I trav erse down the rod, and it's bumpy. Since the first time when I am driving any distance I always lift up on the draft control lever. That has always stopped it for me. ??

PTO doesn't come on when switch first engages

Ah... Sorry it just occurred to me you were referring to one issue when the bucket was acting sluggish. It had sat for about 6 weeks and was slow to curl the bucket. I was wondering if the Hyd pump was acting up. Haven't seen that since exactly but I did see where the FEL wouldn't pick up...

PTO doesn't come on when switch first engages

I'm guessing you got this post mixed up with another one. It never stalled or bucked. It just rarely worked when PTO switch was first clicked. So far it has worked 100% of the time now the relay was replaced.

PTO doesn't come on when switch first engages

I found the part, called the dealer they have it in stock. Same part number as your book was in there, it appears they have updated the part to T4395-43102. I just finished putting it on and doing some bushhogging. Couldn't help myself, its working, its working I kept hearing in my brain. I...

PTO doesn't come on when switch first engages

OH man I sure hope its that easy... I have three relays on the back wall. I have replaced the far right one when it wouldn't start 4-5 years ago. So that leaves the middle one and the left one. Your diagram shows I think 4 relays. I may replace the other two just because... As if the two...

PTO doesn't come on when switch first engages

Ah... THis sure makes sense to me... On this idea I found a pretty good video of a guy with similar PTO problems. It also makes me want to check for another solenoid, maybe I am looking at the wrong one. Hadn't thought about there being more than one. Maybe the wiring to that one is iffy...

PTO doesn't come on when switch first engages

I had just replaced the battery and tractor cranks and runs great. I also replaced the PTO rocker switch in troubleshooting this. Tractor has about 725 hrs. Hyd fluid level is in the range albeit near the top of the line (meaning not far from being over filled). Over the last two years or...

PTO doesn't come on when switch first engages

Kinda odd, I think this has been troubling me for a few years and I didn't tie it together until recently. When I crank the DK45SE and immediately start the PTO by engaging the rocker switch. It often doesn't come on at first usually. I leave the rocker switch in the engaged position and drive...
