I just bought a 2007 Kioti DK65S, cab (1500hrs). I took a chance buying this from a dealer online and it arrived on Tuesday. So far, it is everything they said it was. I am pretty impressed how clean it is and how air tight the cab seems to be. The loader has a bigger lifting capacity than my bigger tractor as well which suprised me (it came with the loader and tractor manual).

There are a few changes and upgrades I may want to do but before that, anyone have any mods they did to theirs? This is also my first time with a cab tractor. I was thinking my first thing I want to change is the work lights on the top of the cab from halogen to led, or to just replace the bulbs for now if I have to take the top off to change them out.

Welcome to the Kioti family. Once you go Orange you won't go back... Or something like that. :)

I have a dk45se for about 12 ish years. Other than a nagging PTO issue (resolved now you can search for the post, it was a relay (thanks again "grs") it has been pretty great. Mine doesn't have the Cab so not much good there either. I thought briefly about getting one with a cab but I don;t think it would last in my world. I am in and around trees regularly. It would certainly be nice though when mowing or discing in hot dry weather.

I love how easy they are to work on. Not a mechanic here but I do my own maint/repairs should they come up etc. To me the dealer is kinda like the dr. I only go when I can't do it myself or its an emergency.

I think I am at maybe 750 ish hours now. I planned this to be the last tractor I would need.

Hope yours runs/operates as well as mine has.

Swapping out the cab lights to led was pretty easy. You only have to lift the top cover and then swap lamps. Honestly, it took me about 1.2-2 hrs to do.

It'll mainly be used for moving round bales and plowing snow and maybe some other random tasks that come up at the horse barn. The reason I wanted a cab is because I don't have a place inside to store the machine inside and I wanted a dry place to be when I have to do those chores since those chores won't be at my home.

I may, however, bring it home during hay season and use the A/C while cutting my fields or raking or fluffing them up. I will say, this thing seems to turn on a dime compared to what I currently have. I forgot to take some pictures while it was still light out last night but I'll try and grab some after work today.

Congrats. I look forward to the pictures.
I never had any satisfactory results in using LED bulbs in an incandescent housing for white light. Swapping the OEM cab lights to LED was the first thing I did to my most recent tractor. I used (4) 55w (9") flood / spot combo lights and they practically turn night into day!
I also replaced all of the individual red and amber bulbs to LED, which shaved off 14 amps of electrical load.
