I cut my lease place thursday,mostly Rye some coastal was up and very few weeds. I wonted to clean it up some,spraying Grazon and liquid and it next week when I get off. 20ac only made 22bales but I don't mind,it was cut thursday got 2/10ths rain on it and baled it sunday.

I cut some rye,figured would share some photos.

That one got within a few miles of me,it went over my brothers in teague dropped ping pong size hai,that covered there yard. I was cutting hay looking at the sky second guessing myself if I should have started but didn't get barely a sprinkle.

I run a 5410 with a Kubota M7040(64pto) its matched good. I have the net. and string,usually string the bales that are not as good grass in areas,just so I know but I prefer the net. for baling and feeding. I wont to say my baler new last year was around 19,500 with net,expert.bale monitor...

I feed with a 5083,its a guy I help from time to time,I don't really like that short 3point lever and the rpm lever on the dash or the exhaust location but that's just personal pref.I'm just glad he got a cab tractor. Both tractors are nice. Have you looked at the powerstar 4.75 cabs?

I just bought the wife a new HEMI,and very happy with the fuel mileage she is getting 420miles to a tank(that's not all the way down to fuel light). I like the power that is right there when you need it.

I ran the 8ft cutter with the M5040 i had,and never had any troubles and my father-in-law used his 43hp Mahindra to pull a NH315 square baler.

New one always inside,the old one already faded so if I have room it does(fourth stall not in picture)..

I just run without a toolbox now,usually have my pickup close. I bought pens for every piece of equipment and just leave them with it when im done using,small piece of baling wirer attached to pen so they dont get lost... You probaly need somewhere to keep shear pins and wrench maybe weld/bolt...

Well finally got done baling ended up with 66rolls and 160 square bales. The 7040 had a time pulling the baler up some of the hills over there was in 3low and 4x4 to get up and had issue with net not tieing think it was the cheap net... the 2grand baler worked great busted first 5 bales,done...

This is the one I ran on my 5040 72in. and had to use 4wd sometimes just matters what your running it in.. It also has the rear blade on hinges weight is around #620(i think).

Says you have an L3800,get the biggest finish mower possible for it. We mow about 4ac. with GT5000(50in)rider and just picked up(54in) and usually double team it,but I cheat sometimes and use the 8ft or 12ft shreader(leaves really good cut) and tractor.

46pto HP KUBOTA and 15ft 2nd gear LOW

I havnt been baling but it was dry enough and get into the bottum and clean up some at lease. Baling there in 2weeks

Have just put 45 bales threw it so far and used the 7040 to pull baler and 5040 to rake with. I will be putting the 5040 in front of the rebel when I head to one of my lease places. So far only drug the baler down the county road to hay field but the 7040 did pull down some had to bump rpms up...

My M5040 cant even run 17mph,around 15 tops and with the baler no way could run flat out up big hill,without having to drop a gear or two. But the M135gx would solve the problem with 16x16,my neighbors 135x will run around 30+mph and that square baler would feel like it maybe was dragging a...

(pictures isnt of exact cutter) They have a SMI drum cutter,its cut is only around 5ft. Its good for small fields but even only 15acres it takes him a very long time,he asked me the other day what was the name of the cutter I got and how my tractor handled it so im thinking he's gonna go shopping.

My suggestion is go wider at top of hill,take those hills out further so you can kick the water off the road and have room to work with tractor at later date if your ditches need fixed.

I tried to keep up with it but I just fall behind and never get around to it. It does get sprayed off,but I just try and stay up on the greasing and filter/oil changes... I wish mine looked as good as yours:thumbsup:

Hey Stan I just picked us up one of the shipping container maybe I can load it up with hay sometime soon. Heading to leona and put out fertilizer tomorrow,have to run into madisonville to the feed store and pick some grasshopper liquid fertilizer first.

It was a pretty hard descion,the dealer sold both so they set side by side on lot. The Roll'belt being a new model,had me leaning towards Rebel but I like you could get the bigger tires on the NH. You know I never even looked at the other NH model you guys talked about and the dealer didnt even...

I run a Kumatsu D-31p paid 6500 cple years ago for it.It okay for dirt work and under brushing but if you wonna take down big trees gotta do alot of digging to get it down. So if I was going to be doing alot of clearing big trees,I wont a D-6 OR something same size.

Well I now have to build one,the father-in-law would like for me to spray some fertilizer for him but I cant use my gear pump or the boom for the organic stuff.Heres some pics of mine. I have to have a boomless set-up,something about the micro-whatevers in the organic spray and I guess it will...

If the 5140 is anything like the 5040 it will do anything you need done on the 50ac. I use the 5040 at my lease place and its 136acres.

I must have missed that,sry!! I think the only time you will notice the difference is mowing and I believe the 7040 can pick up alittle bit more but both tractors get the job done no problem. If your pulling a 6ft mower both will do it fine,if your using a 15ft batwing,sure the 7040 going to do...

I have a 6ft medium duty weighs alittle over 600lbs and I can get a full load of dirt and sure fill it back there. I run a kubota 5040 4x4,and im happy with the 6ft,would you benefit any going to a 7ft? What will you be using it for? Do you have some in mind?

I didnt have the 5040 around at lease place,so had to use the 7040. Tractor isnt loaded on rear and only has hay spear on back. Ton of feed in each picture they are just stacked different....
