The underside of my beautiful mower is surprisingly clean, most of my ground here is sand so its like it gets sandblasted all the time. I have to replace blades on my riding mower about every other year!

Yeah a Woodmizer sharpener is about $800, and a Woodland mills setter is $300...

Problem is here there is no where to "take" them, so I would have to add shipping both ways...

So why did you go to letting someone else sharpen them for you? I have a stack of dull blades, "they" say I can get 5 sharpening's each , if that's the case with as few as I go through in a year I could get a sharpener for $800 ish and never buy another blade.

Tractor and wood... but NO snow!!

I mill mine, sticker it, then use cheap ratchet straps from Harbor Freight to bind the pile. As it shrinks I can crank a little more on the ratchet to keep it tight.

Here is that page on my tractor, it has the LA724 loader on it. So a heaped bucket is about .48 of a yard.. they don't say how heaped though.

Eddie, do yourself a favor and go salt water!! I've had both, add chemicals all the time kind, and the one I have now with salt water. A salt water pool is still a chlorine pool. There is a chlorine generator that basically turns the salt in the pool to chlorine. Its as close to maintenance free...

Whoohoo its siding time!! This time I was cutting them to size and Tammy was doing the staining, both sides and all 4 edges..

Time to start working on the siding, I have Tammy cutting nailers for me. Building is now ready for Board and Batten siding.. Excuse me a minute... I have a beaver to deal with!!

Ok, soffit time.. Got the wife helping again, on furlough due to the corona virus and wanting to help.. Cutting lookouts, and some nailers and soffit material to length. looking good.. And no better way to cut sheet goods than one of these guys!!

So the roof is up and done.. yay.. time to wrap it up. A little assistance please from my lovely wife! And the Green Goblin has moved in!

Biggest mistake of the project.. I did the OSB before the facia, no, I'm not sure why! So I went back up snapped a line and cut 1 1/2 inches off all the rafters and put up the facia.. Shingle delivery, Had a big storm just before and had to fix a lot of that tar paper up there before putting...

Made a few little mistakes along the way, but like I said its been a long time since I've done this... roof structure is done! Oh how I love my battery framing nailer!!

Didn't want to make it too easy on myself so I decided on a hip roof! Doing it the old school way and stepping it off.. And I'm getting there..

Ok. here comes the fun part.. putting a lid on it. I have not built a roof in years! Again , being a one man wrecking crew I have to get creative sometimes.
