also, almost all offset mowers are to the right side of the tractor, probably out of habit or custom. Even the lane shark I think only offsets to the right side. Also right side for mowing along roads in direction of traffic flow.

TSC will have the parts for their KK brand. I just ordered new gear box for a 26 year old one I bought at TSC. Was only $500 in 1998 for a 5 ft one. I just bought a nice LandPride 6 ft one, $2900. For mowing 5 acres, you won't put much time on it.

Sounds like gang culture. Got home from camping in early afternoon, and got everything unloaded and put away. This week will be mowing , and shopping for larger mower for the farm fields.

Dad either broke the gear box on my rotary mower, or damaged the PTO clutch. I'm hoping the first one........ So I gotta go to the farm this week to find out. Been shopping for a larger mower to use anyways, so trying to decide on Flail or a dual spindle rotary mower, for 44 PTO HP...
