This years birthday trip for D is not going to Africa but to Asia in the fall. She is already planning it with a group of friends to go to Osaka Japan. She has a friend with a 6 bedroom house they can use for free. Then the plan is to go to Vietnam. She is excited about it and more to come on the planning

Good Evening,
The Hildene Estate was built starting in 1903 and the Lincoln family moved in the summer of 1905 ! The mansion had all the modern amenities! Hot and cold running water, central heating and cooling ! There was an observatory close to the main house. The house had a full pipe organ that surrounded the central staircase!

Good (Tuesday) morning. Overnight Low of 11.4C and it's presently 18.0C, mostly clear & calm. There was 27.8mm of rain in the gauge @ 0900.

So, weather wise, today is opposite to yesterday... however the ground is very soggy. Fortunately only a few twigs scattered around the property.

The heart monitor the Dr. wants me to wear for 2 weeks arrived today at 13:30 hrs. Activated it at 13:45 hrs. Called the supplier up , let them know I got it and it is working. I also told them I would NOT be wearing it at night. I will take the battery out when i take it off and put in a fresh battery in the morning after I get up. That is as good as it is gonna get.
