i use steering brakes, and i think i can manuver better than i did with a 3 point blower. i can also raise it up over gate height to make tight spots easier to get thru. i do have chains though, as i also use a front plow. plowing on ice without chains is a fools errand.

Place the voltage tester on the battery and watch the valuse on the battery voltage when cycling glow plugs. If battery voltage also drops into the 7s, that would explain whats happening.

Mine still fogs up when first turning on heat…has for 10 years. My ac drains just fine. I can see the puddle on ground at end of hose in summer. I leave side vent open for first 15-20 min and it wont fog up again. I also leave the a/c button on for first half hour or so.

You need to get the battery load tested. I just replaced the battery on my DK45 for almost the same problrm. Tracyor turned over, but glow plugs not getting juice. I load tested the 900 cca battery, it tested at 380. i replaced battery and its back to its old self. Fires up great.

The breaker under the meter is the main breaker to entire house. the indoor panel is a sub panel, feeding from lugs in the meter panel.

mine is covered under my commercial business policy. It is covered by inland marine, and didnt increase my existing policy much…..probably 20-25 bucks per month. But i use my tractor off of my property. It covers trailering, all implements, theft, fire, everything. $250 deductible.

And that pump must be approaching 80#. Its a monster to install. I have to add a pto extension on mine due to the way the drawbar is attached on the kioti.

I know i wont get around to it until snow season is over. I. Probibly going to have to disassemble the hose connections on pump and remove tank to be able to mess with it easily. There sure isnt much room to fiddle with stuff when hoses are hooked up.

Mine has a bracket that supports the pump weight on the drawbar, not the pto shaft. I just dont like the vibrating pump. Im going to fab up a sleve that will slide unto the drawbar for additional support.

Mine steam up windows when first starting up moving or blowing snow. I crack 1 window and press a/c button on while setting temp on highest heat. After all fogging is gone, i can close window and turn off ac compressor, and fog never returns. Been like that for 10 years now.

If you have propane, and only a single water heater hooked to it, you may not even need a new regulator. Your propane company can determine how many btu that regulator can handle. If i am not mistaking, you have propane, so i really doubt youll need to trench back to tank.

Those small dual fuel can run off of a bbq tank, but not a bbq regulator. The gen kits generally have the proper sized regulator as part of the kit.

You may not need a larger underground pipe from tank. You might just need to tee off before existing house secondary regulator and add another regulator for generator. But you need to have your propane supplier or heating contractor look at setup. They need complete list of all gas appliances...

here in north idaho, the propane companies will come and inspect the existing hookup and determine what , if anything, needs to be upgraded. they dont charge for inspection. your area may be the same.

Are you sure about the btu for that generator??? Depends on the size of the generator, but i have never seen one as small as 46,000 btu. Most modern larger units take between 225,000-325,000 btu. ive been installing backup generators for many years, we ALWAYS ran a home run to main propane tank...

Ive used mine for 10 years without the cooler. I used an ir heat gun first 3 years, never had any issues with heat. then again our temps are very cold in winter when in use. Ill even get snow buildup on top of tank while using it …. Snow does melt off, but not fast.

Do what they do all over texas…install cattle grates on the road with side fences to prevent walk arrounds. i worked at a ranch that painted cattle grates on the road, and neither the horses or cattle would walk over them.

If its a private road, put up an automatic gate, and be done with it. if i had a private road i wouldnt want other people using it. In that respect its your right to keep it clean.

Could be a bad oil pressure sensor unit. On any other vehicle i usually pull the sensor and install an oil pressure gauge and compare reading to specs. I have no idea if tym sensors are normally open or normally closed units.

I could use a smart outlet…by why bother. I just plug my trucks and tractor into a standard plug in timer. I set the timer for daily start at 6am and it runs for 3 hours. If i use vehicles thats great. If i dont, its a waste but during winter i generally use the units daily.

I had between 12-14” of standing snow out in the arena, where i dont plow or blow snow. Its been snowing constantly for the past 4 hours, and my cleared driveway has 4” of new snow…..they say we should see close to 20” with this storm. Time will tell.

Doing full turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, orange glazed carrots, salad, garlic parmigiana twist bread. Only having a few friends over.

I just got a fema alert predicting up to 20 inches of snow over next 24 hours, and temps dropping over next 5 to 7 days. Supposed to get down to -10°F, with possible wind chills -25°. well see….these things are hit and miss.

i have NEVER been able to repair a yard hydrant. i have tried everythinjg to unscrew one and replace parts....never had any luck. i usually end up digging it up and replacing entire thing.
