    Husky 455 with decompression button

OK, my old bones and muscles (never anything to brag about) are proving inadequate to the task of starting this saw (after less than eighty years of use (me, not the five year old saw). I couldn't get it started last year and brought it it to have someone 'go over it' only to watch the fella...

Whose idea to put the brakes on top of the 'Go' pedal??

I've a Kubota B7800 and never owned or operated any other tractor. In maneuvering the tractor recently to disassemble and (later) reassemble my Dirty Hands Brand Log Splitter (lifting of the heavy cylinder (w/o detaching the hydraulic hoses), then lifting off the I-Beam Splitter Post(?) and...

Which fitting should I dislodge first? (Dirty Hands WS)

OK, the reason Dirty Hands Brand is no longer literally 'popped up' this morning when the entire weld (24 =/- inches) let go all at once. Based upon the condition of the parts the weld was never done properly and there was no evidence of PENETRATION along the length of the break! So, I have to...

B7800 Replacement Seat - Where to find one

I've found several that say they fit Kubota tractors, but, drilling down into the details cannot find B7800 anywhere (save for some 'universal' seats with a plastic base and nutserts to olt it to the tractor). Black Talon Highback Kubota Tractor Seat — Black, Model# 530000BK Looks as if it...

    Home Made Creosote?

For a number of years, I've been soaking roofing shingles in diesel fuel and using it to treat posts I bury in the ground. Now, I've taken to saving the black stuff that forms inside my steel fireplace box and adding it and some ash to the mix. Wondered - "Is this Creosote I'm making?"
