I bought a used Vermeer 605xl round baler a few years ago. The windguard is missing. What is its purpose and how important is it? Baler seems to work OK but it does plug easily when trying to start a new bale. The baler has about 8400 bales on it and I only bale 50 acres a year.

Recently purchased property with an old pole barn. Today I went out and found this: No plans to rebuild but wondering if is better to hire someone to tear it down and remove the debris or if I should try to salvage some of the posts and sheet metal? JD in Texas

I have an 8-wheel Vermeer rake WR20 and I am looking for a way to lower only one side on occasion. I think I can mount a bracket and reattach the lift arm but I thought I would seek advise first. Any suggestions Pro or Con are appreciated.

I am trying to adjust the end wrap to be farther from the edge of the bale. In the manuals it refers to an end wrap position switch on the baler but it does not give any instruction on where it is or how to set it. I was hoping this could be set with the bale monitor but apparently not. Thanks...
