Just bought a used 5720c with loader. Looking where I can get a service manual to pull the transmission. Has noise when not under load. Bearing noise but goes away when in creeper gears. Going to take apart and fix before it gets worse. Any help appreciated.

I bought a backhoe to put on my JD 955. Its does not have a hydraulic pump so I need outlets at the rear. Did jd make a kit for this? I have all the hookups at the loader but I want to keep the loader on.

I found a Kubota backhoe BL4520A this morning for $1200 and I am going to put it on my green tractor. When did they produce these and who made them for Kubota? I need to fab a seat onto it to have somewhere to sit. Also when you hook it up do you remove the lift arms and top links.

Looking at a 10A to mount on an '81 2240. The backhoe came off a 5510. What will it take to mount it to my tractor? I went to JD parts and not much info there. It lists the same mounts for 2155 (2240) and the old 1050-1650 range for the 10A, but no 5000 series. Is 4,000 a good price...

I have just bought a 955 with a 72" MMM. I have found a 60" MMM
off a 790 tractor. Will the 60" fit. I realize the mounting bracket may be different, but I can get that off of my 72". The 72 is too wide for my trailer.

I have a leaking cylinders on my JD 755 compact with a JD 70 loader. The seal kit is 38.75 a piece and I need four kits. Does anyone know a better place to get these repacking kits. BTW the repacking kits on a Case 580K backhoe is only 12.00 per cylinder.

Does anyone know of a 3 pt fertilizer spreader with a poly hopper.
I am looking for one that is small 150lbs-300lbs. Will the poly last longer that metal or will it get brittle in the sunlight and break. I am going to use it on a JD 755 compact.

I am looking at a 955 that is in good shape and a good deal. I have not been to see it yet just talked with the gentleman. It does not have a loader or turf tires (which I want). My question is? Does the 955 come standard with the loader valve to hook up a loader? Also will 855 turf tires...
What did the 55 series (755,855,955) sell for new? They produced them from mid 80's to late nineties right? Did they alter the HP up or down like on the 790's? I have a 755 but I need a little more power maybe a 855.

I have located 755 at a good deal that needs a hood (actually only the nose, but is all molded together) and a grill. Someone tried to load a scrape blade with the loader. It's amazing what a little laziness can cost. Is a 655-955 hood the same?
