    Snow Pusher on compact Tractor

I have an L3200 that has loaded tires and ballast in the rear and it takes all of that to push a 7' plow with a manual angle. I plow about 1/2 mile of gravel road and 2 large drives. I was thinking about a pusher before I bought this skid steer manual angle plow. It is much faster than a...

    My 2014 Spring Garden

Been very dry here for the past few days, watering takes me 2 hours by hand, using the tractor to get it close. Planted 120 mounds of pumpkins and squash, and about 75 mounds of cukes, if they come we should be ok. Planted some cukes in a cold frame and they are 4" up already, all others are...

    Buying "the best" Garden tools

Lately, I have had this thing about buying the best garden hand tools that I can find. It started when I bought a great American seeder by Hoss, then it went on from there. I have found that buying only the best I can find has given me a new appreciation for working in the garden. By ' "the...

    Chipper Wallenstein WOW!

I figured I would add a few shots of the wally and the large carry all set up that I use in the FEL with a simple chain and load 3X as much, and can load it from the chute.

    Chipper  Wallenstein WOW!

Finally broke down and got me a BXM32 for my L3200. All I can say it runs superb, much more powerful than I thought it would be. I went through a pile of brush that I had nearby in about an hour, and made about 3yds of mulch. The shredder is voracious, and will suck in and pulverize anything...

Resurrected Old steel wheel farm wagon

here it is a day later , seems to roll nicely, but I am sure the bushings are worn out. I plan on using it around the farm for simple haulsing light loads, the tongue weight is near my lifting limit.

Resurrected Old steel wheel farm wagon

Thought I would resurrect this old steel wheel wagon dad and I made over 30 years ago. It was sitting in the field for over 20 years just about like we left it, minus the rotted wood. Should be fun project and might give me some wagon capability albeit at slow speeds.

    My 2014 Spring Garden

i just bought the Hoss seeder, I can't wait to try it out. my dad bought an earthway 30 years ago, not sure who ended up with it but we used it for many years. It worked better then I thought it would. Figured I'd give this one a try.

    My 2014 Spring Garden

got a little excited today being 60 and I started a cold frame, onions and radish hope they come up soon. I am in a learning curve this year, had to transplant all my tomatoes/peppers since they got very leggy. I won't make the same mistake again.

Tractors and wood! Show your pics

here is my set up. It has been working great until I recently broke my ankle as I slipped on some ice. I am laid up now, no longer able to cut any firewood, but this site makes for some good reading.

    50 Hour Service Experience

I finally serviced my new L3200 for the 50 hour required components. The oil change was straight forward, although it would have done me justice to let the oil warm a bit as instructed by the boss. The DT manual tranny only requires a hydraulic filter change, so that is what I did, albeit some...

Rear Weight for 4WD agri Tractors.

I have my carry all box on the back, and it weighs about 400 pounds empty. It is perfect for plowing 1/2 of roadway. I have R1 tires (loaded) which I am really glad I got, and it does not slip at all. I am plowing a full blade with snow coming over the top. I would use 500 pounds and skip...

Snow Equipment Owning/Operating how many are ready for snow in the northeast..........

I got a chance to really try out my plow set up today. We got maybe 12" or so an she's still blowin. I really like it so far, took some getting use to it not being gravity float, but I think I am getting the hang of floating in at the skids. Plowed about 1/2 mile road and it went so much...

    Carry All Mainer Version

I finally got to make a carry all that I have been hemming all about. I ended up using wood for the removable sides, 1.5 tubing for the rear stakes and 2X10 for the body. Overall I think it will work out well, mostly using it for wood both cut and 4' length, thus the stakes in the back. It...

    Resurrecting the steel wheeler

I am currently building a carry all from the frame bought out of TSC. I am using the same principle using all the scrap metal and such to bolt down and make sides and metal stakes for wood hauling on the farm. No metal on this rig will be new except for the frame that I bought. It takes more...

    Resurrecting the steel wheeler

Resurrecting and old wood trailer my dad used 30 years ago. Dug it out of the field right where my mother said it would be. I was fascinated by how well he U bolted on the old timbers that he used to attach to the frame. He always believed in being frugal, so he made his own timbers. Yes I...

    3PH Carry All

Wondering how many have used a rugged carry all and have a model in mind that is a plug and play unit. I am still looking for a nice unit about 60" wide and 48" long with maybe 3' removable sides. I might have to build my own, but I see a market for one especially for a small firewood wagon.

Snow Equipment Buying/Pricing Looking for best priced snow plow for a SSQA FEL

I found several choices, all of which are 2K and higher. I like the shorter margins between the QA and the plow. Not sure why the design is complex to figure out. I saw a few who made their own rigs here. I may just buy one that is close and modify it myself when I have the time. I just was...

Has anyone got any tips on where I might find a lightweight snow plow for a L3200 Kubota? I have 1/2 mile of gravel roadway to keep clear this Winter. I am looking for something quick attach and on the cheaper side. Used mostly for a long drive. I don't mind a manual tilt either. If anyone...

    17 Days of Tractor Therapy!

I got a really good chance to try out my new L3200DT with my new attachments, so I posted in the attachments section. The kubota ran flawlessly, except when I tried to start it while it was in gear (pto) then it did nothing, and had me thoroughly confounded, for a few minutes anyhow. The box...

I have not use a plow for 25 years, but this 12" plow will not go deep enough despite adjusting all possible arms. Does anyone have a suggestion? Despite that, I have been working on my small farm with my new tractor (l3200), and it has performed flawlessly. I really love it. It does much...

Need advice, land clearing. Any video's?

Here are a few more shots: These small poplars I have to get ride of to make the most of the land for planting. The field that is over grown mostly follows the power line, as you can see, I have some open areas, but not really good enough for planting.

Need advice, land clearing. Any video's?

From the sound of things, it seems that I am in for renting a dozer. Not the route I was planning, nor do I have the funds. I was hoping that others have done it the way I am planning on going. I am really in no rush, but I want to make it so I can plant a garden there if not this year, then...

Need advice, land clearing. Any video's?

I just bought 5 ac parcel of a larger farm that has not been managed for 20 years. Most of the fields (1 ac total) have been over taken by small trees mixed alders etc. I would like to use my newly acquired FEL L 3200 to make this project work. My question is can I use a bush hog, and box...
