    Repainted tractors

1973 885 diesel, Rustoleum special. I've owned this for almost thirty years and it just turned over 5,700 hrs, yesterday.

    PTO Snowblower

I'm confused by what you mean by engine speed and ground speed. On my tractor I can engage the pto lever when the clutch is fully pressed in. I usually lower the rpm's to idle before doing this but there's no grinding or resistance at all on the lever.

    Steering out and I’m stumped

This might be a stupid question but since you didn't mention it at all in your post, is there a separate power steering pump for this unit and is it full? It might have all leaked out when you had the cylinder disconnected.

SAME Argon 50 steering ram leak: Repair at home or not?

What Do You Do With Your Waste Oil?

I fill up my five gallon plastic pails with lids and when they're full take them to the local recycling center (dump). They give me the same amount of pails that are empty and then they pour them into a big tank. I don't even have to get my hands dirty.

Price Check What is it? What's it worth?

A little bigger than mine but I've had the old girl for over twenty years now and other than a change of clutch which I did myself, it's been a dependable tractor. Over 5,500 hrs on it now. Good strong English tractor.

    Where does your tractor sleep?

Mine is kept in the old workshop/garage that was here when we moved in 25 years ago.

I've been invited by management to write about my David Brown and will do so some weekend when I have more time but for now...
