Mine stays in a heated garage just waiting for enough snow to go to work.

It is a Carolina Carports building.. They build it in a day, The door is 9 foot tall, and I think 10 or 12 wide, I cannot remember for sure.

They will make about any building you want, on either a slab or just level ground like mine or a foundation. Just tell them what to expect, they send a crew and it magically goes up. I supplied the electric extension cord and some ice. It was close to 100 degrees that day in the sun.

The buildings are sold by local dealers which take all of your information and your money. But they are installed by "international" crews.
They just frame out per your specs for the garage door. I had a local garage door company come and put it in. I never saw him, I was at work, but he did a good job. I just paid the bill.:)

I rented space winters years ago in a barn for my R-60 BMW motorcycle. All was well until the year the owner kept a flock of hens nearby. Bike was covered, but handlebars and exhaust and rims rusted that winter. Pigs always had their own pen, so I don't know about their affect on steel. Jim

I don't hear about fellow R60 owners much. I had a 1968 R60US once upon a time. Stored it in a chickenless barn though.

Good Afternoon Beezz27,
Here is mine, put it up in 2010.

Prior to the barn being built I brought it up to store in my Uncle Daves' barn,,, about 3/4 mile up the road !:)

Mine is in the garage next to the firebird. Next year hopefully it will be in the new high door shop/garage. I am planning a three door, one of those will be big enough to drive a motor home in.

Had to do a little re-arranging after I bought the 1953 JD 40 Standard: HPIM1390 (2).jpg

JD 790 w/300 loader on the right.

Mine's back inside the garage I built for it, for the first time in a couple years.

Mine has been stored under the elevated back porch with a tarp for the last 4 years, but her new home is almost ready. Just needs the doors and a final coat of paint.

In the garage with my old "tractor"...Hehehe; I never tire of the highlight on view of a pontiac. The only thing better is having the kubota sitting next to it.

I can't understand how anyone can spend $20-50,000+ on anything and leave it out in the weather.
I understand it, but just like you, everything i owe is under a roof. When i bought my 20 foot trailer and couldnt find a place for it, i added 30x12 onto my 20x24 shed, so i had a place for the trailer. I hate leaving even my push-mower outside.
