    Mowing Temperature toooo high

So I finally had time to get the radiator removed, it was a pain but it's out and yeah it was DIRTY. Here are a couple of pics. Blew it out from the back first with air then the other way then noticed there was still stuff in it so I took the hose with a nozzle that did not put too much...

    Mowing  Temperature toooo high

So summer is here in North Florida and I have been mowing for about two months. While doing this the other day it was in the 90's and the water temperature got a little higher than I like it to be so I did the following. 1. Verified that the mesh screen was clean in front of the radiator 2...

3-Point Hitch New Owner CK2610HST- What are you doing with a tow bar this big?

My CK20 did not come with a Draw Bar so I improvised and used a tow bar from an old bumper hitch. Made the hole 5/8 and it works fine for pulling stuff. Rancho

CK20s loses power 20 minutes into heavy lifting

Had the same problem, see the picture below, seems the previous owner failed to remove the top from the filter in a previous change so the new filter would not fit on without crushing it some.. Take the bowl and filter off and look up at the housing... Rancho

    Remote control start

On the CK20 there is a hold down for the clutch so you can start it without having to hold the clutch down with your foot. See picture below. So based on this the clutch issue is not really an issue. Rancho

    New CK2510 owner

Hey Buggs... Here is a picture of the loader on my CK20.. As you can see the top and bottom are bent. The previous owner put a single hook in the middle and it has been used to lift things to the capacity of the loader and hence the top edge is now bent... Rancho

    CK27HST wrong fuel filter???

You might also look at the filter base on the tractor, the previous owner of my CK20 left a metal filter end attached (see pictures below). I could not get a new filter to fit on, once this old part was pried off, a new filter fit without issue. I started a thread here about it a year or so...

CK 20 handle on fender came off today

I am not sure of the age as I have owned it almost 4 years ago. I tried to decipher the serial number but the tag is hard to read. Also the rest of the machine does not really have a lot of rust on it, just under the handles, where rain and moisture can collect. I thing the previous owner did...

CK 20 handle on fender came off today

So to all the other CK 20 owners out there, be aware that this could happen to you too.... The other side did this during the summer and a larger washer was placed under to spread the load out and secure the top of the handle. Rancho...

Two plugs for the same thing????

I found this on Michigan Irons site.... It does appear to show a fill plug on the front of the Trans. My CK20 has the fill on the front of the tranny as well and has a red cap, on the right hand side of the tractor and the level check is on the left hand side (also on the front of the tranny)...

    Mowing CK20 HST speed/cruise control

Thanks for the information, after I looked deeper into the manual I found that my issue was a matter of adjustment as the 'Lock Shoe' was not putting enough pressure on the 'Lock Arm'. When I engage the lever now it does hold the pedal down as it should. Thanks Rancho

    Mowing  CK20 HST speed/cruise control

So I am going to mow a friends field this coming weekend and decide that it would be nice to actually use the cruise/speed control on my tractor CK20 HST (it has not worked for the three years I have owned the tractor). I started messing with it last night and found the front pivot froze, so I...

Mowing Changing Belt on Kioti finish mower

Ok so I finally had time to do the belt replacement and found it easier to take the 4 bolts out that held the entire gearbox unit to the mower deck. The two in red oval and then two at the front inside. Which was probably a good thing as the back two were rusted about half way through...

Mowing  Changing Belt on Kioti finish mower

So whilst mowing the other day I noticed that I was not mowing the full width and after taking the belt guards off found I had a belt off. The belt is pretty tore up so I will be replacing them both, but it appears that you have to take the whole center section off the mower to get the belts on...

Tires  Time to replace the tires?

So the thread about loading the tires has peaked my interest, but before I consider that I think I need new tires. The fronts are definitely worn out and I think the rears are too... So anybody got a good place to buy the R-4 tires (I am guessing based on what I have seen that these are...

    Loader  Joystick issue

So my joystick has decided to become more difficult to use over the last week, it seems that the 'selector' does not want to stay on the ball end of the controller. Based on another thread I am guessing that one controller is a pivot point for the other two and that fixed controller will not...

    Canopy Install Advice

I did the same thing to my ROPS as I found the knob did not tighten enough to keep mine from rocking, here's a picture. Here's a picture of the fan I added to my golf cart canopy on my tractor, it has a switch on it. Makes mowing in May through Sept. much more comfortable Rancho

Oil & Fuel Fuel filter on CK20 and adding lubricant to the road diesel.

So had some time today to look at little deeper into the filter issue I have had, and here are the pictures. Looking at the bottom of the filter housing after I removed the bolts holding it on. See anything that should not be there. This is what I removed from the filter housing. Seems the...

Oil & Fuel  Fuel filter on CK20 and adding lubricant to the road diesel.

Ok so I bought a Wix fuel filter for my CK20 and when I tried putting it on yesterday ran into a slight issue. Traction Front wheel drive not operating
