    DeWalt nut buster, DCF900 $199+sh

I have the Milwaukee and it's a beast. Been changing blades on an old flail mower and breaking the bolts loose for the hangers is a piece of cake.

Scrapers aka Dirt Pans for Smaller Tractors

I've always wanted one of these. Don't need it but every time I see one for sale I look at it. One day I'll run across one on the cheap and buy it. I've seen some as small as a yard capacity, but that might be so small as to make it more trouble than a good size landscape box.

Flail Mower Let's talk flail mowers

Yeah, I've got a Gates on mine as well, no wear yet but I just started using it so I have no experience to rely on. I've read about Kevlar belts in this thread and it sounds like they might be superior, but availability and price (if I can find one) would probably make it less of a value that...

Flail Mower Let's talk flail mowers

I appreciate your efforts but that's not Kevlar either, lol. I'm starting to think that size just isn't made. Thanks again for looking. I'll eventually find it if it's available.

Flail Mower Let's talk flail mowers

Looks like that's for the EPDM/rubber v-belt. They don't appear to have the proper size Kevlar belts. I've yet to find anyone with a C54 in Kevlar. Odds are if I did find one the price difference wouldn't be worth it, but it would be interesting to find out.

Flail Mower Let's talk flail mowers

I've found belts galore, just none in kevlar like I've seen recommended in this thread.

Flail Mower Let's talk flail mowers

I've read about kevlar belts in this thread but can't seem to find any for the 25a. Anyone got a source for a kevlar equivalent to a C54 v-belt?

Flail Mower Let's talk flail mowers

After using my new to me JD 25A this week I'm thinking new knives and rings may be in order. The rings are about the same price everywhere but the scoop knives or hammers are all over the place price wise. This is the type of knife that's on there now. They look OK and could be sharpened but...

Flail Mower Let's talk flail mowers

Got to use the new to me flail mower this week. I'm very happy with it. Of course I'd been mowing my lawn with the bush hog so I'm not hard to please. The missus likes how the grass looks so that's a great endorsement. One thing I've noticed is a "click" when mowing something heavier, like...

Flail Mower Let's talk flail mowers

Got my auction find flail mower home today. It looks to be in pretty good shape overall, just a bit neglected. It needs a belt and the tractor side of the pto. Anyone know a good source for half, or is it best to replace the entire pto? Can anyone confirm the model from this serial number...

Flail Mower Let's talk flail mowers

Hey y'all, looks I just joined the flail mower Nation. Just bought this at auction on a whim. It looks to be in ok shape, but I won't know until I get it home just what needs work. Can anyone identify it from this pic? Thanks for any info.

Fence Line App for my phone?

How much elevation change are you talking about? If you're cutting the trees in the orange circle could you then erect a tall pipe at each known pin, say a 20' piece of pvc, and see one from the other?

Box blade vs draw bar scraper

Do you have a photo of this? I've pondered doing something similar since I got a hydraulic top link.

    New Equipment Trailer

That is really nice. What do you mean by "adding a pair of fork pockets under the frame to keep the pallet fork off the deck"?

    Armrest in l4060

I keep my left one up all the time too. I use the right one with the loader and as a shield to keep my elbow from hitting the pto switch while cutting.

    Top link

I installed this one last year. I wanted to get one from Brian @MtnViewRanch but needed it sooner. It's a little longer than he recommends but the extra length has come in handy with the land plane and landscape box. It's also a Cat 2 and I wanted the rapid hook for the implement end. The...

Price check in the rear blade aisle please..

You know how it is; look online for attachments and find great deals just none local to you. How does this sound to those who might know? Local Kubota dealer pricing for a new Land Pride RBT3596 rear blade, full hydraulics including tailwheel: $4000 plus freight ($300 guess) or no freight if...

Who else is grilling? What grill do you have?

Something like this: Those are sweet peppers filled with cream cheese and wrapped in bacon. You can use other things though. Usually ABT's are made with hot peppers, hence the Atomic. Those holders are custom made BTW.

Who else is grilling? What grill do you have?

I bought a Primo Oval Jr. a few years back and it has completely changed how we eat. My wife has eaten more steak in the last two years than probably the previous ten. I still have a Webber Genesis Silver but haven't fired it up in at least two years. Here's my first chicken on it.

Opinions on l60 vs l40, esp FEL hydraulics routing?

Bill, Hope these help. My longest hose is 58" and the other is about 6" shorter.

Opinions on l60 vs l40, esp FEL hydraulics routing?

Here are a couple of pics I took showing the third function valve and where I think Kubota should have provided a bit more protection. The valve is well protected and out of the way behind the step. Lines come into the valve from the rear (solid lines) and head to the FEL (black flex lines)...

    ABI Grader/ Landplane

Anybody have any experience with these? It's one of the longest skid landplanes I've found commercially made. I'm either going to build or buy, can't decide. I'd need help on the welding if I made one and that's running my costs up to where buying is and option worth exploring. The length I...

    Had my first regen today

I had my first DPM filter regeneration on my L4060 today. Honestly I didn't know what to expect, I've heard a lot of negative comments about the new engines and the Tier 4. For anyone interested here's how it went. I started the day with about 45 hours on the hour meter and 95% on the PM. I...

Pics of my new L4060 HSTC at the dealer waiting for final assembly.

I've been a member here since 2006 and this is my first post. I've had "Merle" for about three weeks. Here's a pic before getting it dirty. Got 20 hours seat time so far and loving every minute.
