Everyone doing what I do have moved to grade 8 bolts. Sometimes I purchase a little bit longer bolt and grind it down a bit so no threads are being used in the shear area. We still break them though time to time.

Neighbors had 100% kerosene gel up and kill the furnace this week. It actually froze solid they said. I did not see it but know it was cold. I have enough additive in a 500 gallon tank for 2000 gallons. I have two different kinds in by the time I was done.

If I did not have to use it often it would not be an issue. Snow blowing for a living makes it see a lot of use. Trying to drive down a road with 6" of snow on it holding down the button for 30 seconds to get nothing is annoying. If this is the norm I will look into a valve to put in the line.

You back up to one garage and head down a long driveway. No way I would spend the money on a cyclone. Yours does everything mine will with a few bucks left in your pocket.

I cannot speak on any other brand of hybrid as this is all I have run. Most would say this is the best as that is what I have. I will not say that as I have never compared.

Pretty much the same as my 92 Cyclone. I am generally running about 450 rpm but hardly ever in the deep stuff. Lower rpm means higher gear meaning less range changes when I get to the road.

I did exactly that to a land pride blower I had years ago and it made an amazing diff. Very noticeable in the slush that is almost water.

Access doors to the chute is awesome in my line of work. I run with no shoes but only doing 3 gravel driveways. I love inverted but they cost more. I believe they follow the tractor much better as they tend to float more with the tractor than a push type. Not sure one brand is that much better...

Huge diff in front of garage doors. The volume of the blower will pretty much be determined by fan diameter, width and the auger feeding it. I find them to be pretty much even in the big snow.

Nokian i Tri2 are a diff breed altogether. I use them in snow and they are great on the road. Probably not the traction of either R tires. More of a specialty tire. They are not cheap. I won't have them on my next tractor as pretty much none affordable. They are over 10k for the 4 of them.

The older style works just fine in your own yard and was used commercially for a long time. Less money than the hybrid and only real noticeable diffs are at each end of the run. I have had them and they worked great.

Little diff idea than I am use to but sounds like it should work

Thats odd. They look a lot like a Cyclone. When a Cyclone is sitting level the cutting edge has a 6 degree pitch. Lowering the front makes that pitch more aggressive and raising the front makes it less aggressive.

If this is anything like our Cyclones shortening the front arm makes it more aggressive. Think of it as a box blade with an auger. Lengthen the top arm to make it less aggressive.

Driveway is done and looks great. Now I just hope it hardens up. I will roll it everyday for a few days. Hoping to put some type of sealer on it in a month or so.

Seem like the lever for my 3 point hitch is working harder than is use to. I have oiled everything I can see that moves. I see no grease fitting with these old eyes. I would imagine there is a nut that sets the tension on the lever? Is there a grease fitting I am not seeing? Thanks
